This is ~problematic 's character Celeste. She battles zombies, which of course makes her well-suited for ACTION POSES and PERSPECTIVE. 
and omg not-black lines.

Funky. I reall love the dymanic pose and foreshortening, and I like the shape of her pant leg for some reason. D: I like the earthy tones and simplicity, and I really like her arm, too! Elbows <3

I hardly ever do! I usually just scan my linework in and set it on Multiply, so anything that's not downright black becomes semi-transparent. Although lately I've messed around and figured out how to make the lighter parts a different color, but they always end up black at the darkest parts. IF that made any sense.

The action pose is so awesome, I'm glad you were able to get some dynamic inspiration from her.
