I'm sorry for the massive art-dumpage as of late, but I've been saving up sketches for four months, and now there is so much to scan, and so much to color! I'm enjoying it.So, why is there a tile floor in the middle of the desert? Don't ask me, I'm not Galadri.

You know, besides the face and hair, this is kind of what I think of when I think about how the White Witch would dress, at least back on her own red sky planet.
For some reason I just imagine her like this in her world, tall, with a flowing dress like that. I think the background reminds me of her world too, like everything besides the castle is sand.
This picture makes my think that she is surveying her world after she said the deplorable word.

Oh my GOD... this is beautiful! The grainy, sandy texture, the earthy, rich colours, and the great pose... it's gorgeous. The folds in the fabric are particularly well done, and I love the lips. The checkered floor is a nice touch as well; it makes the background feel more complete.

I like her sad thoughtful look, maybe the floor is to her, now ruined, age old palace and thats why she looks sad and thoughtful?

Don't worry about it, if the things we had to wait for are anything like this drawing, the wait was worthy.
There is so many things that grab my admiration that i really don't know where to start.
I will mention the main: Love the contrast between Galadri and the background. it makes it stand more and look more beautiful. and I love the shading in the dress. it has that feeling of silky-water material that seems as if you could touch it.

Wow, that's awesome! I love the sort of gritty feel the image has, like there's a little bit of sand in the wind obscuring the colors. (Well, duh, it IS a desert, but not everyone takes environmental things like that into account when coloring.)

Well, Galadra was a country in the world I made up that I was going to write all these stories about, but instead of writing, I always end up just drawing pictures from it.
