Dumpy moods lead to oddly depressing drawings apparently. Usually ideas for things like this flare up whenever I'm feeling a bit lonely, but I was perfectly fine in that regard when this was drawn. I'm glad I was talking to Paper-is-Food and EmiChiiChan over skype to help me through my frustrating coloring dilemma. I know the face is really weird. I like this a lot but her pose seems odd. It's like she's not really certain if she wants love. I say this because she seems to be standing, like she's stuck or something. It could be better if she really looked like she was chasing love at full speed but the heart always remains just outside her grasp. Fyi I really do appreciate this piece I'm very sympathetic to her.

The skin? funny you should mention that. I wasted about an hour on the skin doing who knows what and failing incredibly hard. I'm glad I was able to revert to something passable though.

I just haven't colored anything well in such a long time that I forgot. I had to open several drawings to look and see what I did for them.
