Wasn't even sure if I wanted to upload this, so I didn't when I uploaded the other LGS photos I had looked at so far......but I was persuaded to. So here it is. Something simple. ^_^
This was taken at the Landesgartenschau 2012 (of the state Baden-WΓΌrttemberg) in Nagold.
I like the simple, soft delicacy. ^.^
More of the Landesgartenschau to come.

In my opinion the photograph looks nice and appears to be well exposed. The focus on the subject of the photograph appears to be just a little soft to me. I do not know if that was intentional and was done during post processing for artistic effect or if you just did not get your focus on the lens finely tuned before taking the shot. Either way for me personally I would like to see it be slightly sharper.
I love that you insured to use the correct f/stop and achieved a wonderful amount of bokeh in the photograph so that attention is drawn to the subject and the person viewing your work is not distracted by details in the background. I also love the soft colors created by the bokeh that compliment the subject. Overall the the image is a nice photograph of a flower, I would just work on increasing the sharpness of the subject in the future as I feel it would add to the interesting features of the subject you are photographing.

Have seen similar works many times before, BUT this image has a much nicer effect, and is more crisp. Also the writing made it a bit more original.
Technique:
Very good! Photos taken like this (blurred background) either are gorgeous like this, or horrible and fuzzy! Luckily yours was great! The only negative is that bokeh is visible, but all blurred. Well, I'll be travelling through the USA for most of September, so I probably won't have the chance to upload anything then, buuut afterwards I'm sure I'll have lots of new photos to share (and I still have lots of older photo shoots lying around...time, I need more time XD)
