Description I'm not 100% sure wtf this is.

And those might be the single ugliest wings I've ever painted. Oh well. They were an experiment.

Anyway, this is my entry for the first contest in #LimitedTimeContests of *Ladyhorse 's dragon character, Saphiro. Hence my extremely original title.

Watercolors, Derwent Inktense pencils, Derwent Water-Soluble pencils, Prismacolor liners, a fuckton of beating myself up about whether or not i should upload this.
Approx. 4 hours of work, off and on.
Saphiro is *Ladyhorse 's.

Hope you like it! Crits appreciated, preferably about color, technique or composition. I know my anatomy issues.

Nooo He lost his baloon!
Such a lovely piece I see what you were going for with the wings, though I don't think the 'wing-fingers' can bend that way. Try to shift the perspective of the wing instead of making the 'wing-fingers' go upwards. But really this is a great painting Love the colourpalett you choosed^^ You're probably in a good place for this contest

Yes, I was trying to pull a Skysealer or whatever with that epic failwing. If it weren't a traditional piece i'd go back and change it in a heartbeat, but sadly... It is not, and I can't. Oh well. I learned something.
