Description
Finished portrait commission for Zyrena, of her amazingly gorgeous jaguar/long horned sheep/quetzalcoatl character! I went a bit overboard, but with all the potential shinies I kind of couldn't stop myself. Iridescent feathers, gold, jewels... Seriously fun to paint!5 hours in Photoshop CS6 with an Intuos 3 tablet

One of the details I really adore about this is that you managed to give the feathers texture, and represent the barbs, without making them look ratty or in a need of preening (which is a common problem I see in feather art). Absolutely brilliant!

i loose my manners soon when reading the last sentence. should i have written *normal face* behind it? i just said "reading helps", what's wrong with it? i didn't insult you, i wasn't like "really, learn reading, it's all written in the discription", so i don't know why i should gather my manners again when never loosing them. not everybody will touch you with velvet gloves
