# About me
I'm an independent writer, trying to break into real commercial success. Check out my books on Amazon including "Crafter's Passion" and "The Digital Coyote".I write science fiction and fantasy, with a lot of interest in robots, AI, transhumanism and transformation, with some silliness. I most want to write upbeat, pro-freedom stories without being preachy or straying too far from real science. Lately I've also written for the "LitRPG" or "GameLit" genre, which involves game-like elements and virtual reality.

Well Kris, are you making any requests or not as I got one if intersted to hear.

Sorry, but I don't generally do requests, though I do sometimes take commissions.

Hahahahahah, the comment about Clara being a "raging furry" x3
Also i was worried I wasn't going to see Lumina, because she wasn't at the Fun Zone during the assassination attempt. Glad she showed up at the hexapod meet.Β
Man I've never loved a set of fictional characters so much before. I know I keep saying this, but kudos to you sir <3Β

I just read Liberation Game, I'm totally geeking out over it. About to read the rest of Thousand Tales from the beginning.Β
I found it through the Recommended sidebar of We are Legion (We Are Bob) by Dennis E. Taylor (Which I heard about from Isaac Arthur who you should totally check out on youtube if you don't know him already)
Please keep writing, I was amazed by it. It gave me hope for some kind of fairytale "happy ending" for humanity. Alsoooooooo something told me you might be a furry. Probably all the gryphons and deer taurs and Green's skunk tail/ears. Also Typhoon's presence and others like him. :3c

Thanks! Please consider leaving a rating; I'm finding that those directly affect marketing.
I hadn't heard of Isaac Arthur, but I already see he has some videos about seasteading/ocean colonization. Looks worth checking out!
The series is meant to be upbeat overall, even though some disasters happen and some bad deeds go unpunished.
The first direct sequel in the series, "Crafter's Heart", will come out on Thursday if Amazon's site cooperates this time. It follows up on "Crafter's Passion". I'll announce it tomorrow, hopefully. I've even thought about trying to do a "visual novel" based on this new one, where the player can steer the story in different directions. That might depend on sales.
Me, a furry? Green is explicitly an anthro skunk in the original book, and I kinda toned that down in "Liberation Game". The current edition of the original book all but explicitly has a Chakat in it (in the "Hexapod" chapter)... and then there's Hoofland.
One other thing: KickahaOta, who commissioned some stories that turned into "The Digital Coyote", wrote a Tales story of his own that's really good. You might like it: sfw.furaffinity.net/view/23673β¦

I'll definitely do so. You get five stars from me.
Also I'm pretty worried about the state of scientific progress in America. At least astronomy. It looks like NASA is having trouble getting anything off the ground thanks to mishandling the budget and equipment. I was really looking forward to the JWST going up this year.

Thank you!
I'm unimpressed with NASA these days. They don't even have a real plan for a Mars sample return mission, whose real point would be to demonstrate on-site fuel production (ISPP) for a manned mission.
But I'm encouraged by seeing SpaceX's progress. Musk himself is worrisome but the company has now proven it can launch rockets with used first stages and cargo capsules, repeatedly. They've also got (I think) more-or-less finished engine designs for the BFR and are close to building the thing, and I've gotten to watch the first Falcon Heavy launch from the beach in Florida. It was encouraging to see how many people showed up to watch and cheer! At this point we're likely to see the BFR go up while NASA's SLS is still just pretty concept art.

Yeah, Musk's rockets are looking pretty good, but how is SpaceX with giant mirrors? I'm not sure I've heard of any progress or even involvement with telescope from them, which are what we need right now to study the far reaches of our universe. At least if we want to keep learning new and impactful things about this endless starry void we've all collectively woken up in.
Also I finally finished book 2 of the Bobiverse and JUST started on book 1 of thousand tales. I hate Helena with such fury that it prompted me to make this comment to tell you as much. (I rated Liberation Game with five stars by the way, you deserve it)
Edit: I was like "Hah!" out loud when Simon casually shoved Nocturne into the ravine.

Mirrors: Yeah, those won't come from SpaceX, so the delays of JWST are frustrating. NASA at this point should probably get out of the launch business and focus on the satellites and other payloads. Hear about the Chinese moon mirror project? Saw a video explaining why it's completely impractical; for one thing the orbit is far too low for steady light. I'm imagining its effect on were-creatures though.
Oh, her. She was inspired by a school counselor I had once, among other sources. The name comes from "R.U.R."
Thanks for the review! Was it on Goodreads or what? I'm still puzzled by how Amazon's review system works; it looks like non-US reviews don't show up for US customers for some stupid reason.
This never made it into a story, but I was thinking there's some rating system for how much of a "player" you are. Somebody who just touched the controls once is, like, D rank versus an uploader at A, and you can rise/fall a rank based on what you actually want.
You mentioned liking AI stories in general, I think? You might like the FreeRIDErs series too, at shifti.org/wiki/FreeRIDErs_(se⦠. I've been trying to poke these people to start selling their work on Amazon because they deserve money for it.

I rated on Goodreads and just now on Amazon, so you should be seeing it on both. I hope it helps your sales! Maybe if it becomes a big enough hit... who knows? Maybe it'll influence how we see AI as a culture. I'll admit I'm more than a little hopeful for something like it in our reality down the line.
Just took a look at the project and I think it's worth at least trying. Science and progress don't get made by giving up just because something won't work! After all, humans will never build a flying machine heavier than air. Plus, we can learn how NOT to make a moon mirror (just like all those ways we learned how not to make light bulbs.) Mistakes are a necessary part of innovation and failure is a necessary part of learning.
Ranking: I'd be a B+ (or perhaps an A-).;Ludo would probably have to tell me to take a break and get some fresh air multiple times a day.
I'll give FreeRIDErs a look and see what I think of it. The year is kind of far away - I like your series because it's not so distant a future, and it's about our world changing *into* a sci-fi world rather than already being one from the beginning of the story. Also I like how toned down your furry themes are - it'll be more accessible to the mainstream and has a better chance of standing out. I really hope more and more people read your stuff.

Some of the first one. I read... uh... somewhere around issues 100-150 of the Sonic comic, so "Knothole gets replaced by an actual city", "Iron Queen shows up", "Nicole gets a body", and where I stopped reading, "Ixis becomes king".
