Oh, he's pretty. Captures the essence of him very well. Armand is my favourite.

Other than Marius, Armand is my only other favorite Anne Rice character. I love how you have given him an up-to-date look.

I read Interview with the Vampire so many years ago, and I still love it. What a ground breaking book that was.

I read Interview when I was 17 and yes it portrayed vampires in a very different light.

I love Anne Rice's Vampires. I have to agree Armand is also one of my favs too.
In the movie Armand (Antonio Banderas) was so hot. Ok I know I'm a lesbian but if he would dress as Armand I would do him. LOL

Banderas as Armand was yummy! I wasn't impressed with the casting in QOTD though...I felt like they could have found better. My next deviations on her characters would be Pandora and another would be Maharet. Santino and Marius as well.

That would work for Santino and Pandora *looking at the book*
The title character is a highborn woman of Augustan Rome who later names herself after the Pandora of mythology, opening her own box of surprises. so I don't think Greek would work for her
