[please full view]*Foolix is visiting me this week (YAY!) and when nosing through his sketchbook I came accross this most awesome little doodle... last night I asked if I could colour it and he very kindly said yes! So this is pretty much the end result of our first collaboration, Felix provided feedback and input all the way through the colouring process too (I hope you didn't get too bored buddy!)

That is a really cool concept. Tell Felix it rocks. Your color scheme was well-chosen, and it works very well, but I think it might've looked a little more finished if the metal bits were shinier. Right now it looks a bit more like plastic or porcelain than metal. (Of course, if I am having delusions that it's metal when it's actually plastic or porcelain, correct me.) I still haven't decided if inks would make it look snappier, or just too much.
Love the little flame energies contrasting the other starkly geometrical parts of the background though!

I wasn't really sure if I wanted the body parts to look metal, or like some tough white plastic.. I guess I kinda rendered them somewhere between the two! hehehe You're right, this picture really would have benefitted from inks to make the whole thing tighter, but it was really one of those spur of the moment "I gotta colour that sketch!!" things you know? ^-^

emmm... A nubbin is like a little nippley type thing. Some people call third nipples "nubbins". I just use it for anything small and bobble-like.
I guess you could call jelly tots nubbins in that case... hmmm.. yeah that'd work.
