Alan Rickman, the celebrated British film and stage actor best known for role in Harry Potter, has died aged 69 after suffering from cancer. Rickman passed away in London with his family by his side. His family said in a statement: “The actor and director Alan Rickman has died from cancer at the age of 69. He was surrounded by family and friends.”
Alan Rickman for me was incredible, brilliant, talented, unique man who seemingly had to live forever ... And so he is no longer in the world ... I hope you are now in a great kind beautiful place, Alan. We will always love you... Eternal blessed memory... You left a mark in the hearts of millions of people around the world, including mine... That truely is one of the best digital paintings of Snape I've seen so far. It's amazing how well you did his face and his expression & smile (which I love, too, by the way). And on top of it all the light and the background is just perfect.
