My half of the ACEO trade with of her character Albireo.Wow, I'd forgotten how small these things are, the original is so packed with tiny detail xD I had to get really close to the paper to see what I was doing lol. Finally brought out my Verithin Prismacolors and used them.The star he's holding really doesn't look that red on the edges. o-O; The only part I used red on was the eyes. |D

xD lol when I first cut it, I was like "Are you serious, I have to draw on this thing?" because I forgot how small they were, good thing I'm kinda used to sketching small (like on school papers at school -ahem-)

I feel like that about ACEOs too, but then I work small -sometimes smaller!- almost on a daily basis :S
Just how big [or small x3] are ACEO pieces supposed to be, exactly?

Same x3 My sketches I do randomly are that small or smaller than an ACEO most of the time, I mean all of those sketches on my sketch dump fit on one piece of cardstock xDD
They're supposed to be 2.5 x 3.5 inches, the size of a trading card ^^

You just... get really sharp and thin colored pencils and get reeeaaally close to the paper LOL xD

I got a pack of 24 Verithin colored pencils from Michaels, and I don't think they were that expensive (not near as expensive as the normal ones at least), so you could try getting those when you can? D:
xD It's... about the size of the palm of my hand? lol On my screen, the original is 4 times smaller than the view on here o-o;
Positive I guess xD Just a -idkwhen- kind of deal lol xD ADD IT TO THE PILE OF STUFF WE ALREADY OWE EACH OTHER
