A character I'm hoping to adopt from *InfinityCreature
# 1 Wish I could have gotten a better scan
It made the face look kinda messy...I'm naming him Atlas I think if I get him, which I really hope I will, because I just love his design
I'm really bad with antlers, so sorry I messed up horribly on them in this
I need lots of practice with them...Info~
Name: Atlas
Gender: Male
Species: Wolf (with silver antlers o: )
Element: Mainly earth, but not only earth, but all the elements which reside IN Earth (i.e. water, wind, fire, etc)
Bio: Atlas is of the purest blood in royalty, and is one of the high status guardians of the land. He has limited actual control over the elements however, as he normally just checks and keeps everything in balance. He takes his job seriously, and if one tried to tamper with nature's balance, his power can be quite overwhelming. Other than that, he is kind, gentle, wise, serene, and can even have a sense of humor. The balcony (for lack of better term) that he is on in this picture is the place he feels most at peace, and normally stays here when not doing rounds, or just out and about. It is located on a very tall tower seemingly reaching to the heavens, and is strictly for the royal families alone. Each "room" in the 'castle' is designed to match the markings/colors of the one occupying it, which can be done since these wolves have godlike powers and can live for a very long span of time. Atlas is one of the newest members to the royal family, and inherited his father's place and powers as guardian of the elements when his father perished. Though fairly young in comparison to the royals, he is still older than the oldest normal wolves. He can either 'walk on air' or fly to get to this tower to avoid using the stairs which take forever to climb. xD The majority of the source of their power resides in the antlers/horns, so they wear them with pride and protect them with their lives, for if broken off (which is near impossible but by another wolf of similar strength), they lose much of their power, and it can even lead to their death. It is strictly forbidden to break the antlers of another royal, and in doing so, the penalty is death, or banishment. Since they are godlike in power, they don't need to eat, however do require the basic drinking water to survive.
I think I'll stop there for now, I need to make a ref too if I get him (the one I made was... I just don't like it), so I'll add any other info I can think of in there

Thank you <3 Perhaps, I'm (hopefully)making a comic or something with him as the main character, so maybe you could have 1 or 2 cubs and you can decide their powers/personality and stuff and I can incorporate them into the story somehow? I was making him a mate too, need to finish designing her, and then either I could design pups and you can choose which ones you'd want, you could design them, or I could ask *InfinityCreature to, which I don't really want to be a bother

But when it's not intentional... lol xD Part of the problem was when I tried to make a thin outline with black along the edge of the antlers to separate it from the bg, but since the back was still a little wet, it made the black way too dark and way too broad, then the rest of the face kinda got blurred a little during the scan @.@

Yeah that tends to happen, i'v stopped with watercolous/colored pencil drawings simply because they tend to get chalky when wet. (Depending on the brand) Try prismacolour, i dought it will blend in with the water when applied. A brand like drewent would defiantly be affected wayyy to much with watercolours.
But hey, its been awhile since i tried them together. Just expariment and see what you get.

I used prismacolor xD No other color does that except black, and I don't even know why it did do it... But, I was trying to get it done that night so I got a little impatient and didn't wait long enough for the watercolor to dry fully xD;
Awesome 8D lol I understand completely about backgrounds x3 They look like the easiest part, but sometimes it takes longer than the character itself just to get it to fit and look right xD Like I know the bg for this pic took just about as long, if not longer, than the character itself.
