Aren't diverging timelines fun, on one hand Trish and Nero keep the demons off Kyrie and Lady long enough for the seal to be restored, or everyone dies and the world is plunged into ruin, and Dante/V!Dante is left alone and broken.
Or the timeline in which Dante chooses not to break the seal and let's Vergil go. Losing his brother again, surely to be recaptured and used to fuck with him in the future; but not risking endangerment of the human world.

Love it! I love how fiercely protective and loyal Trish is, how they're all there to back Dante up when he needs them. And of course, I knew Kyrie would help. She wouldn't be Kyrie if she didn't.

It's certainly a possibility. This IS the decision that splits the timeline I've created. But which one will fuck him up? He knows there's one where everything is dead, and it's his fault, Pandora informed him as much. But he wasn't told what that Dante had chosen, to make it so. What to do? What to do??
