The Game Critters just brought in FOUR... count 'em... FOUR... new recruits.This project just keeps getting bigger and bigger! It's actually starting to get somewhat difficult to position all the characters together now. Although, maybe it's better that way. It might be more natural to have them all bunched together in a disorderly manner for a group photo. All the guys just trying to make room for each other.
Anyway, the latest editions are Blinx the cat from Blinx: The Time Sweeper, Sly Cooper from the Sly Cooper game series, and two old arcade legends Mappy The Mouse from Mappy and Bentley Bear from Crystal Castles.
What a real group this is!

Yay! So I'm not the only person who remembers Blinx! I loved those games; Blinx 2 was my favorite Xbox game.
And I also see Aero (I miss that game; I lost it a long time ago, but I really enjoyed it) and Sonic (proud fan since 2003). No Gex, though (that was a REALLY hard game as I remember).

I have Gex drawn already, but I haven't gotten around to updating this thing. Expect to see him and a handful of others in Game Critters V5 when I finally get off my lazy duff and update this.
I never played Blinx, actually, but I did remember him. So I thought it only fair to include him.
We'll see who makes it into Version 5 of this soon.

If you have an Xbox 360, see if you can find Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space on Ebay (or ROM it; I know of a good xbox emulator). It's an amazing game. Or check out some Let's Plays.
On a side note, I'm surprised you haven't included any of the Kongs. It's debatable if Donkey Kong is anthropomorphic or not, but Diddy Kong and some of the others are definite anthros.

Aero the Acrobat, YES! I want to play one of his games, I'll do it eventually. Thanks for introducing me to some new "critter" characters, I've been looking for them.

Punky Skunk, I've actually already drawn but have yet to do a new edition of this picture. Awesome Possum I was thinking of not including as I already have a Possum character in the form of Sparkster, though I may change my mind if enough people want me to. As for Ardy Lightfoot, I'm not sure I'm familiar with him.

I only know about these characters because I looked up a list of furry video game characters, so I probably know even less than you do about the majority of them, but still, cool! Ardy Lightfoot's game looks pretty cool, never played it but I've seen gameplay on YouTube. Not sure if many other people know about him either. Actually, I really haven't played that many different video games. :///

Ratchet is a possibility. Banjo & Kazooie is a definite yes. Conker... no... I just don't like him. Besides. I've already got a Squirrel in Zero. I'm probably gonna skip Spyro too since he's not really Anthropomorphic and therefore, wouldn't really fit in with the rest.

Blinx is the main character of a game called Blinx The Time Sweeper for the original XBox. He was actually opted to be the mascot for the XBox, but that plan never happened. Sparkster is the main character of the cult classic Rocket Knight Adventures series for both SNES & Genesis. A new Rocket Knight game came out for XBox live arcade fairly recently. Captain Havoc comes from a somewhat obscure 16-bit platformer called High Seas Havoc.

Well... all the characters in this picture are anthropomorphic animal characters. Megaman is not an animal by any means. Hense, he's not included.
