Description ok good day again.

this is the 2nd one of the duo. the previous 1 is here: [link]

the difference is that the katana has its sheath off and obviously its blade curving up = when the blade is displayed it points upwards, and also, the left side is the so-called "front side".

one of the most time consuming part in making this one is that the katana and the sheath was inverted horizontally, and rotated 180*. i had to glue (or merge) the handle and what not and it was hell of a mess. then i got them aligned, which i had to go find "samples" on the net and see how far the sword and the sheath were separated. also it required a little rotation to horizontalise it.

the sheath's light reflection was "moved upwards" so that the light curve looks normal, if you compare it to the first 1 you can see that when u rotate the sheath 180* the strip of light will be further down, which is corrected by moving the strip upwards and clone over the original strip.

also the string piece was also rotated, but not inverted (laziness... hahaha)

then i manipulated the stand, also perspectiv-a-lised them a little otherwise they look too flat.

there were also a few minor changes done, and then it was done, exported into png!

now these 2 pics are so coooooool i wish they actually exist in real life ^o^

and if you still dont know wtf a katana is - please quit this page now
