ok. d'abord (firstly), ao means blue anyway = blue katana (no duh)

all these images come from ebay and google search what-not. then i modified them heavily and rendered some parts of the stand and katana and the lighting.

everything was puzzled together to near-perfection (lol, i still need to be @ 100% )

the stand's reflection is basic photoshopping with a few layer blendings and all that. not so difficult. the background has the "similar" looks to what u see on a windows vista log-on screen, with the low lying horizontal line which creates quietness, and harmony, and serenity.

note the attention to detail pls :333

some extra info:

on the stand it says: 武士道 (bushido) which means way of the warrior. gosh, the english translation sounds cheap (so as that other samurai movie by the famous cruise)

when you DISPLAY not use a katana to KILL some1 you put it on a stand (no duh)... with the sword handle pointing left. if it's pointing right it means u'll just grab and slash.

btw when a katana has got its sheath on the curve bends downwards, and without the sheath it curves upwards. also because the left side is the "front" side.

and if you dont know what a katana is - just GET OUT! it's a samurai sword of course.
