It's so late right now, and I was actually falling asleep at one point while working on this one.
I'm estimating that there will be 4-5 more pages for Ch. 2. Although I'm not sure if I'll be able to achieve it, my summer goal (well, one of my summer goals) is to finish Ch. 2 and 3 before the Fall semester begins. I hope I can do this!

Honestly, I don't think Kishimoto "lost" his storytelling at all. I mean, in practically every novel I've read, there's a portion that is less interesting, but it doesn't hurt my opinion of the whole story. 20 chapters of Uchiha doesn't make me think less of the other 380 chapters.

Yeah, I guess I just liked Sasuke better as a cool genius than an evil bad guy. Now we're going to have a pathetic Orochimaru impersonater.
I actually thought the Uchiha-Uchiha fight was interesting. It was the afterstory that was too rushed. There should have been the Naruto portion first.

Yeah, I always got the impression that Deidara and Naruto had very similar personalities (even though they are from opposite sides of the conflict). It doesn't help that they are both blue-eyed blondes, too.

But I love Naruto anyways, not as a character to pair up with anyone, but as the most honest, funniest, adorable, lovely and nice - best friend guy of the serie. So I really like Naruto too^^

Well, I usually have a couple volumes of Naruto beside me, and I look through them for tips. I use marker paper for each page, and india ink pens for the lines (of course, I sketch it all first in pencil). For the action lines, I use French Curve stencils, which many manga artists use (you can find them in most craft stores, like Michael's).

Awesome job. I understand Deidara and his anti-criticismness. I hate criticism, but what is Deidara's move? I wouldn't expect him to have close combat moves...maybe neither did his sensei. Yay for battles. Awesome job.

For me, I like constructive criticism expressed in a helpful and concerned manner. But rude and harsh criticism just upsets me.

I guess, but when I give someone a critique, I make sure to compliment just as much (or more) of the work as I critique it. That way, I don't insult the artist/writer and I let them know what they do well on and what they could improve.

Hee hee, I use that pun all of the time. I usually say that Deidara has an explosive personality (because he has been suddenly happy, sad, angry, irritated, impatient, etc). My Deidara Character Analysis essay goes into detail how Kishimoto gave Deidara and Sasori each personalities and fighting techniques that perfectly matched their art philosophies. [link]
