Just an idea that popped into my head while I was practicing side views. Inspired by all them Japanese drawings with cranes in them.And yes, before anyone points it out, I know a crane is like 4ft tall and weighs like 20 pounds and there's probably no way she'd be holding it in her hand like that. I had the idea that it was a baby, but a baby crane would probably be grey/yellow/brown/whatnot so it wouldn't be recognizable really. So it's not realistic, but whatever.

Because the character is wearing feathers and face paint and accessories, which mock the natural beauty of the crane.
And also the crane has wings and is free to fly.

Yes, she has scars on her back. They're part of her history, she was abused in a former relationship. But the scars on her back actually make her appear as though she had wings that were torn off, so for this image I added the 'stitches' to play on that idea.

Perhaps the crane is not undersized, but she is larger-than-life, like a goddess or something?
