Cookies.The initial drawing was inspired by Hyde's "Evergreen"...um thus the title.
Thankyous to ~xPrincessSakurax for suggesting the watery background. I tried drawing the water myself, and I think it turned out ok.
I did alot of experimenting with lighting and layer types and textures, took a few tips from *messa 's CG tutorial, so thank yous to her for that as well.

How beautiful. The lighting seems to blend in with the picture, making it more soft. The water background makes me think she's an innocent, mystical being, the little orb she's holding also helps that. The texture in the hair looks like the picture was printed out and passed around for a while. It's very beautiful.

The texture is awesome, it reminds me a lot of Japanese woodblocks and is a great compliment to the image. like others have said, the water is done very well....and that green against the white and brown is just scrumtulescent!

This is great and I can really see the influence of *messa 's tutorial. I especially love the folds in her dress, though. They're pretty amazing.
