AAAAHHHHHJKL; IT'S FINALLY DONE

okay yeah so this started out as a piece of CRAP, but I do these things for my boyfriend and he appreciates them I think so there. I drew this to "Say You Like Me" by We the Kings and "Fall For You" by Secondhand Serenade but mostly the second one hence the lyrically related title.

In fact, this started out SO BAD, and I felt so bad about my own work, that one layer on this piece is actually a vent of reasons I hate my art. Obviously I've hidden said layer, but whatever, you get the point.

I've been working on this for about 3 weeks, on and off. Probably spent about 8 hours on this? The background was rough.

But heeeyyy, check out that sexy new signature

Usually, I don't like words in my pictures, but the space where the words are looked really bad without them; I couldn't figure out what to put there without doing more clouds (ugh I hate clouds). But yeah, 100000% of everything in here is hand-drawn.

Those flowers are supposed to be snapdragons but whatever lilacs are pretty chill too.

Overall though, I'm really happy with how this turned out. ESPECIALLY the shading on these guys. It was really hard to get it to look right and flow with the picture, but I think I did an alright job for once. And I also really like their paws, omg the paws look so nice but you can't see them hiding in all the grass. Trust me though them paws are beautiful ;-;

And thank you to ~pricemc for making me try a different angle because side angles are for lames

Lastly, I'd like to clarify that THEY'RE WEARING CLOTHES WOO. Topaz is in a sports bra and leggings because those are my new favorite things and Puzzle is wearing blue jeans because he looks good without a shirt on (also I'm too lazy to draw him one so deal with his furryness)

ANYWAYS I hope you all like this one, because I really am happy with the result c:
