I'm sure I wasn't the only one wondering why this race didn't get a long range fighter job class. So I made one a few months ago. Hah, the things I come up with ;DJust so we're on the same page. It's a Nu Mou Gunner job class. Or what I'd like to call a Fuzor.

Man, I wonder why we got a bangaa gunner instead. Bangaas typically can't do ranged shit, so why not nu mou instead?

Flintlock is a decent class.....cannoner is freaking awesome and fusiler is just over powered at times.....this class would be awesome.

Fusuiler isn't that overpowered.
They excel with their range and numerous status effects, but they're a bit weak on the damage side xD

Love it!! Though I really don't mind that Nu Mou don't have a range fighter job, get one to be an Illusionist with the Halve MP ability and they kick all sorts of ass

cool i used a cheat to let my nu mous have cannons and its a deadly combo honestly i think thats why they dont let him have guns xD blow stuff up with guns and magic, it wouldnt be fair xD

(this is an unofficial name for what seems to be a discarded Nu Mou class, but they peobably didin't use guns, tho...)

I ALMOST decided to call this class Grenadiers as their weapon of choice involves mortars and grenade type attacks. But I went with Fuzor mostly because it sounded more unique and appropriate.
The original reason I even thought up this imaginary class of Nu Mou is knowing that there are some that live in cold and mountainous environments. I know they're particularly not the type of race to wield harmful weapons. But I do think they would have used weapons like it so as to make the environment safer for them. Much like the modern day explosive technicians that purposely set off charges in order to remove potential avalanches. Whether or not they used these type of units for battle is another question!

That's true. They have no long range fighters, heck..they don't even have a physical class.
And does anyone else think the Flintlock job sucks? I mean, it's so weak, and you have to charge for every attack

Ah, that's true. Flintlocks at least can do some good. Tinkers...honestly, you can't depend on them at all. It's even more annoying that you have to go through that before you can use the Juggler. wtf square-enix?

indeed, all you have to do is give them skills other than their Tinker skills to use, then equip good stuff to them so they can survive... or just send in other Moogles to allow the AP to flow.

Yeah. I mean, it's nice that Tinkers have somewhat decent strength, but it's nothing near mog knight, and they can only move 3 spaces!
The only thing I don't like about the Juggler now, is for one, the face-art...that's just ugly lookin'. Also, most of his status moves are really inaccurate now. Ugh...I miss the 99% accurate ring toss

Yeah, but it still sucks. Because they drastically lowered the success rates of status moves, several classes and abilities are made practically useless. Take the Templar for example. It used to be that the Templar class was one of the best Bangaa classes, but when Square enix made Life break horrendously inaccurate, the class fell behind, considering it has basically no other damaging moves. The Assassin is another fantastic class, ruined by the lowered success rate. The list just goes on..

they expect people to use the "Concentrate" Passive ability to boost the effectiveness of the moves... LAME!

Ya really, Concentrate does nothing! The only surefire way to get a status move to hit is if the target's already asleep or stopped, which again, is usually, at most, a 50-60% chance.

that's odd, cause I used the Fusilier's skills both with and without Concentrate, with Concentrate on, the added effects seemed to always take effect, while without it, it rarely worked

Oh really? Huh..well, I knew noticed that it never seemed to have an impact on physical attacks or purely status-causing attacks (such as ring toss or leg shot), but it does affect added effects? Didn't know that..but still, the ability's not that much of a help. I'd rather stick with shield-bearer or ribbon-bearer for a Mog. I wonder, though. Does concentrate help improve steal success rates?

I really wish they hadn't removed all the good abilities from the thief class. Sure, steal A-ability was kinda cheap, but everything else? Why, Enix, why? Those abilities actually made the thief useful!!!

oh, don't bother. The 2nd and 3rd place prize things aren't worth it at all. I think one of them was just gil, and the other was like 200 CP..I don't remember exactly, but they're pretty well worthless

I was just looking at the Nu Mou Gunner again, and it got me thinking. They need to make some more jobs for the Gria and Seeq classes. They only have four jobs! Where's the variety? At least give the Seeq class some more jobs. The jobs for that class suck so bad, especially the viking.
