Komodo dragons and salamanders that Salandit is based off of though are toxic for different reasons, so I don't see why anyone could think you're ripping off of Salandit. They're poison lizards but for two ENTIRELY different reasons. Komodo dragons have a lot of nasty bacteria in their mouths that can infect and kill its prey

This is perfect in every way. Colors are nice, design elements are spot on, fun pose for the little one, amazing names, and it'd fit right into Pokemon (and Toxlick could be a Mario enemy)

I have a similar idea for my own region, but way more colorful... and slobbery. Komodo dragons drool a lot, usually. The big one is even named Korrodra! I like these guys regardless, though making the tongue forked on the big one would've made it work even better. That's just personal preference, however.

Also, I wonder what the shiny color schemes would look like. I hope the bellies and tongues become a sickly acid green.

lol ok no but seriously these are AWESOME! I don't think they're that comparable to salandit, but if you do compare them, these are so much better!

I love the body shape, that first one is such a cutie, I love that big tongue!
