Yep. They are his treats. Gilbert can't eat pellets because they affect his sensitive tummy but they are Ludwig's favourite food and he was devastated I had to take them away. So whenever I take him out I feed him them. It was definitely his xmas treat. He ate the whole plateful.

awww poor thing that is too bad sometimes these things happen.When I had my cats some had to be on diets and I had to keep the others away that couldn't eat the same food.It's frustrating

Yeah its hard. Especially when he sees me feeding the other 3 pellets through the bars and he runs over for some and I can't give him any. I feel so guilty and have to try and distract him with hay but often he wants the same. I hate feeling cruel when he doesn't understand.
