Yeah I was happy he got a sort of happy ending. He really deserved it. I think his life was worse than Ciel's was. Ciel had a happy childhood for at least ten years, whereas Alois never had one really.

yeah. I mean I also liked him the most b/c he actually expressed his emotions freely... I like ciel too, but I found him a bit boring early on. But when Alois showed up, without any pretenses and just being so open and random and seeking affection, It was really refreshing and new. It's a pity nobody recognizes how awesome he is the whole time.
