Just a comparison between Sasuke and Naruto's relationships with Sakura.The quotes in the bottom are supposed to be the average fangirl's opinion about them.
Obviously I know not all girls are like that, but it still bothers me that there ARE girls like that.
I don't hate NaruHina, but shipping it just because you don't want Naruto with Sakura is a HORRIBLE thing :/
And shipping SasuHina is completely pointless, since Sasuke and Hinata don't give a damn about each other

Fact: Naruto NEVER loved Sakura in a romantic way. What he felt for her was a crush that only existed because he was competing with Sasuke, a crush that started to fade when he saw how much Sakura loves Sasuke, and one that finally died when Sakura lied to him about her feelings. Sakura was a TROPHY to Naruto back then, someone he could use to claim that he was better than Sasuke if his efforts to win her over had prevailed. If Sasuke did not exist, Naruto would never have been attracted to Sakura. The claim that Naruto loves Sakura can only be accepted as fact if you accept the fact that the bond between Naruto and Sakura is one of brother and sister.
Fact: Naruto fell in love with Hinata before she confessed her feelings to him. He only "ignored" Hinata's confession because he literally did not know how to respond. Even the Sage of Six Paths called Naruto out on his inability to recognize his own feelings. When he did realize what her confession and his feelings actually meant, he immediately stopped "ignoring" Hinata and fought to make her his, even calling himself a "big idiot" because it took him so long to come to this realization.
Plausible Assumption: You never read the manga or watched the two CANON movies because if you had, you would know that the facts I pointed out ARE facts.

Maybe Naruto wasn't deeply in love with Sakura, but you can't say his crush was due to competing with Sasuke. He loved Sakura before realizing she likes Sasuke.

And he still treats her like trash.
I don't care if people say she's the only who can "save" or "understand" him or whatever, he's an asshole who never did anything to deserve it. Love isn't a relationship of saving other, it's a relationship of mutual respect, which SasuSaku lacks.
I've been in love with someone who treats me like trash, I know how bad it is to yourself. I'll never accept such a relationship even if it's canon.
And I don't hate Sasuke just for the way he treats Sakura, I hate him for the way he treats people in general. A lot of the villains are more friendly and likeable than him.

That may be even so, but love is not defined by just one dimension as you say. Sure love for you is made of mutual respect, it doesn't mean altho' that all view it the same as you do. Β
Unfortunately, many misunderstand Sasuke. He seems a linear char and simplistic at first glanceΒ but he's a very complex as character. He is consumed, lost and wandering in darkness. I actually feel sorry for him..One time when he fights Naruto he says "I have long since closed my eyes... My only goal is in the darkness.".
He also carries the curse of Uchiha, him walking the path of darkness is actually his destiny. Itachi is the only Uchiha who broke free from the curse. Him and Naruto were meant to fight and share rivalry justΒ as their ancestors once did. They representΒ the Yin and Yang both essential for the balance.
Take a look at Madara for example. You consider him evil as well, right? Well thanks to him a fractured land became at last one and attained peace. He is nor evil nor good. He is only true to his desires, that's it, same as Sasuke.

Heheh...well... unfortunately the curse is what governs the entire Uchiha lineage. They are supposed to be the antagonists of the story. I a world dominated by war, greed and betrayal one cant have only smoochie coochie fluffy unicorns.Β
Like Madara says : "Man seeks peace, yet at the same time yearning for war... Those are the two realms belonging solely to man. Thinking of peace whilst spilling blood is something that only humans could do. They're two sides of the same coin... to protect something... another must be sacrificed"

Yeah, I understand, but Sasuke could have gotten a true redemption, instead of battling Naruto and deciding he lost and was now good (which, from what I heard of the gaidens, isn't really the case). Even Madara had a better redemption, and he was written off because the author didn't know how to defeat him (and obviously replacing him with a stronger enemy which had barely been hinted, much less hinted to be evil, is the best way).
Also, I was so disappointed with the spoilers of the ending (for one, I shipped NaruSaku) that I didn't even read the last two chapters of the original manga. How did Naruto and Sasuke ever recover their arms? And why do Naruto cover his with bandages?

To be honest Naru-Saku would make a good pair but then again I like Naru-hina too. I think they complement each other very well. It's a warm fuzzy unicorn type of love. Sakura is too yandere and too crazy. I actually 'hate' her and that stupid bitch Karin. Annoying and always noisy.
As for arms... Hashirama's cells which Sasuke refused.

I think Masashi is a nice guy who wanted to make the fans of the manga happy and knew NaruHina and SasuSaku were the more popular couples and so thought of making them canon. But he's a idiot and that backfired.

haha so true.. though i know its for the purpose of this picture.. but b4 sasuke went nuts he definitely did not hate sakura....he cared of he as a friend for sure.. not as much as he cared for naruto but still, he did.. plus in the episode/chapter when he left the village.. after sakura confessed to him and said she would go with him, sasuke came up behind her and said thank you..
so he def didnt use to hate her..

I feel the whole story was because of Itachi. If he had told Sasuke the truth and all that before, he wouldn't have become a villain and there would be no story at all, since Naruto is about getting a friend back from evil.
