People usually assume Sakura "abuses" Naruto just because she punches him a lotLike your friend or crush never said or did something so stupid you almost wanted to kill them
We all have to admit Naruto can be annoying even if he doesn't want to (and I know what that's like). Obviously Sakura exagerates, but that's the joke
If Naruto cared about Sakura punching him over and over again, he would've long give up on her. Love isn't about respect, it's about comprehension. And Naruto and Sakura understand each other, even if they have the worst ways of showing it.

A lot of people complain about the way Sakura treats Naruto, but Sasuke has been much worser to Sakura than she has been to Naruto, and I don't see anyone talking about it
He never gave her a chance to become close to him, he scolded her for even worrying about him, he smacked a plate out of her hand when she was only trying to feed him, he violently knocked her out when she threatened to warn the village when he was leaving, he threatened her life more than once, and he tried to kiil her twice in a short period of time
In the last case, she wanted to kill him, but I doubt he knew until she actually tried to

I saw the Tobi= Obito thing coming a mile away. You just rearrange the letters a bit and take out an 'O' and you've got Tobi. Kishimoto did a terrible job, he shouldn't keep thinking he's so clever, he isn't ninja just because he writes about them.
Like I said before, I didn't say similar people couldn't work in a relationship it's just that they just often don't. How often do you see a couple, old and been married for who knows how many years, that have the same major personality trait? Not very often do you? People with similar personalities may work as a couple for a while, but they probably won't last forever.
I'm assuming that their "relationship" falls under the main-female-falling-for-bad-boy-and/or-villain-character syndrome, it happens a lot, and it doesn't help matters that she still has feelings for him. Don't say she doesn't, just because she's perfectly willing to kill him doesn't mean anything. There are plenty of characters in other stories as well as this one that are willing to kill their loved ones for the safety of the rest of the world. Lady Chiyo did just that, she still loved her grandson, by Kami did she love him, but she was willing to take him down to protect everyone else because she saw what he was doing was wrong. So Sakura can still have feelings for Sasuke and still attempt to kill him.
They complain because her abuse is constant, Sasuke only had certain small scenes and they were so few and far between that people don't count it as abuse, they just count it as Sasuke just being an ass like usual, just directing it at a different person. (Worser isn't a word, hun. Just sayin'.)
He never really gave anyone a chance to get close to him, it's not like he was justΒ singlingΒ her out, he did that with everyone. I can see his reason for it though, he doesn't/didn't have time for fan-girls, and he didn't see Sakura as really anything more then that because she hadn't proved to him that she could be more then just a leech. He probably scolded her because he didn't want her to worry about him. The plate scene was because he was having a big internal conflict between staying in Konoha and staying weak but being with his loved ones or leaving and getting power to obtain his revenge, when he smacked the plate out of her hand that's when he really started thinking about it.
I have to point out that Sasuke (and I can't believe I'm defending him at all, I hate the bastard) didn't knock her out quite as violently as some people think, all he did was hit a pressure point on the back of her neck, and he did say 'Thank you' which I'm assuming he meant as a 'Thank you for caring about me, even though I've been such an ass-hole', it's not like he punched her lights out, and he did lay her on the park bench instead of letting her stay on the ground so he showed some amount of consideration. Not a lot, but some.Β
By the point of trying to kill her he wasn't the same Sasuke he was before, before he was just an ass but after he left he turned into Super-Douche, he changed and I don't mean just physically I mean psychologically. In his mind Naruto and Sakura were things of the past, things (not even people to him) that no longer matter and things that are blocking him from his one true goal. He acted as a Super-Douche should. He didn't care about them anymore, by that point he turned off all emotions other than anger and hatred. He was like a walking, talking, breathing, hating robot with one objective in mind.

He never allowed anyone proximity, not to Sakura, not to Naruto, not to anybody else.
But Sakura has given Naruto this proximity, and Naruto has also given Sakura this proximity.
Sasuke doesn't love Sakura. He never did, and he never will. That should be clear enough.
The reason why Sasuke had so few scenes like that was because he didn't stay with Team 7 for long, and even during his time with Team 7, as you said, he never allowed anyone to get close to him.
Still, his reasons to being so rude to her, or to anyone else, aren't half good enough. No matter how you see it, it's just. No.
Even if Sakura was violent to Naruto, SHE is aware of it, and SHE didn't mean bad, unlike Sasuke. She cares a lot about Naruto, and that's her way of showing it.
I think Sasuke can become a better person, if only he finally realizes the true value of his friends. But right now, he doesn't deserve anyone's love or even friendship. And even if he did, he still wouldn't want Sakura.
BTW, can we please stop this? I'm really tired of having this kind of talk, really.
Can't we be just friends without this kind of discussion?

I'm only defending the reasons of the people who dislike Sakura. I try not to hate characters, I find it stupid, and I try to forgive characters (and people) for actions they take but I'm veryΒ sensitiveΒ when it comes to people who betray/abandon their friends and comrades because I've had it happen to me before, by people who I grew up with too.....Sakura abandoned Ino, yeah I know they were kids and it was just a childish mistake but the feeling still remains and she did it for the dumbest reason ever. I know they're friends now but Sakura tore a great rift between them, all for a boy who never even glanced in her general direction, nor would he ever look in her direction to begin with.Β

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I was off for a while and had a couple hundred messages to sort through before I could get to yours.
I'm good with words when it comes to writing and typing them but when I'm talking to people face to face I stutter badly, speak quickly and several times I have to say something over again and that really doesn't help me at all.
You shouldn't wish harm on other people, even if you're kidding about it, it can turn into vengeful habit when you're older. You don't want to be a spiteful old person later on in life do you? I'm like this already and I'm only in my mid-late teens.

You forget this is not a serious romance show, this is an action-comedy show and the romance is only a minor plot point in this show (and in almost any show actually), which is made mainly for male action fans

Yep. And odley enough for like nearly all the same reasons people hate sakura. Like 1. Taiga abuses ryuuji. Now when sakura hits naruto he does something or says something stupid, insensitive, and or disrespectfill in order to diserve it. So there it works because naruto deserves the punisment sakura gave him and makes it funny. But with ryuuji and taiga it doesn't work because every time ryuuji is hit by taiga he was helping her or giving her advice anddoing something for her. That makes the violence unneeded and undeserving and just makes her a bitch. Also. Taiga never helps out ryuuji. Its always the other way around. And when she does do it she is only doin it for her own selfish reasons making her a brat. She flat out calls him her dog and says a dog should be happy to make it's master happy. So basicaly she says that she doesn't care about his probloms and that she is only concerened about herself. She is a horrible person. Taiga never does anything nice to people or acts frriendly to anyone other than to minori and kitamura. She's mean and hatefull to every one. Hell in episode six she harrasses Ami twice when Ami did't do anything other try to make friends. At the begining she runs behind her puts her in a full nelson while minori grabs all the fat on her stomach calling out all tbe snacks she's eaten just to embaress her. That isn't playfull teasing that is full blown bullying. And second agfter she finds out Ami is being stalked she dosn't let her stay in her apartment unless she does 150 ( I am not fucking lieing) random impressions in quick succession, films it and uses it to blackmail her withit. Holy hell this sis the lovable main heroine we are sapposed to like and relate to? Bullshit! And to put the icing on the cake they constantly force her down our throut. Its always taiga taiga taiga. Everyone is always talingabout taiga. Hell Taiga has no real problems. Her "family issues" makes no sense. First her father. After her father get's remarried taiga and her stepmother don't get along and she ends up getting kicked out and placed in her own apatment. Why didn't she just go live with her mother? They show that they get along and that taaiga clearly can't take care off herself so she should have been placed incustody of her mother. Seconed when her father comes back to be in her life again seaying he made some mistakes taiga doesn't want anything to do with him but will stll take his money. Bitch. Any way afterward he acts like a nice and attentive father but every one is saying hek a bad guy. Heks selfish. If he loved. Taiga than he would let her staay here. When inactuality they themselves are the ones being selfish.
Third when her father can't make it to her beauty pagent and can't be with her because of things out of his controll wekre saposed to believe that he is a uncarreing father and a bad guy. No the only ting that happend is that life got in the way. Which is normal and is going to happen but no her dad is evil. Lastly when her mother comes back she hears that she started another familyand wants her to be apart of it she throws a tanture tantrum when it isn't needed she should be happy her mom has started a family and wants her to be a apart of that. But no taiga's right and everyone else is wrong. Taiga acts like she is the bedst thing on earth when she is a horrible person. And in spite of that people still like her. That maks no sence. Why do people like her, and support her and be friends with her when she proves over and over again that she dosn't deserve it? So yay do you see my point? Becajuse I hope so.

Honestly some comedy in the show worked. And I loved the premise. But in pure charetor fuled anime I can't helped to be bogged down by taiga's flaw's while watching the show. I'm not mad at her because she had flaws. She just did't have that many good qualities to balance them out like sakura and rukia does. And honesty there were some charectos that I liked. Like Ryuuji Ami And sometimes Kitamura ( when he's not being a medlsome dumbass). And honestly I tried realy hard to like taiga. I realy did but she just kept pissing me off that I said fuckit I hate this bitch. So yeah realy its a good anime, and I'm glad I saw it but I just can't stand taiga. And besiseds just because an anime is a romantic comedy doesn't mean they can't take themselves seriously. Like Nisekoi, Clannad, Kannon, Ah my goddess, Kannokon (manga), Kiss on my diety and many other anime.

Don't mind some filler scenes, personally I prefer filler scenes to better explain certain under appreciated characters, like Tenten and Omoi. But for God sakes, stop focusing the camera solely on Hinata! Like her as a character, hate how 75% of her screentime is what the anime decides to be true and false.
