I am blinded by the details of the fur!!! It is so amazing. And you must have a sixt sense to keep the streaks so perfeclty in balance and form...!

Thank you so much, Tina
I only had a steak knife and a safety pin to use as tools, back then. But they worked and now, even though I have hundreds of tools, I still use my knife and pin mostly. I think I wrote and told you the first piece of sculpture I have finally finished to 9/11/11!! It's not bad either, It just took me 3 years or so to be able to complete it! The person that wanted it wanted it to be glossy so I used Sculpey High Gloss glaze on it. It's under glass, but it will last forever! You'll see it maybe tomorrow, if I can find a camera around here to shoot some decent photos of it. Thanks again, jack

A steak knife and a safety pin?? Now I am speechless... But that seem to be great tools for modelling, because the unicorn looks so great! (Maybe I should try that too... ) But yes, sometimes "strange" tools can be the absolutely best! (For my Tradinno dragon model I mainly used just a short piece of wire ... every other tool was to big)

Hi Tina
I screwed up on the photos and I cant show them off (too glossy) I knew I should have shot it before I glazed it, I'm really disappointed, but the people who ordered it are really happy so I should be glad for that! I'm sorry, I'll do better next time. bye Tina, jack

The detail you put into all your works is astounding. I want your patients, because sometimes I want to be done with something so eagerly, I rush and it dosent turn out how I wanted it to. Jack, you are amazing, and I wish to be at least a quater of the sculpter you are.

Beautiful and incredibly detailed as all your works. Oh well, you'll probably laugh at that, but whenever I look at it, its color makes it seem to me as if it's sculpted in white chocolate...
Must.not.think.of.that. I'm on a diet here...

Thanks my friend. I hear that a lot from all of my white colorless pieces...sometimes I think the same, only I'm diabetic and I'm pretty sure it wouldnt raise my sugar, but it would probably would raise my appetite for more clay, of which I am a fiend for ..jss
