Pastels were a nice transition for me into the color world. Like pencils, I can work for minutes or for hours and then just set everything down. No cleanup or concerns for dried paints. Or it could just be that I like being different. - smile.

Thank you my friend. You are correct about it being Honey. I have noticed my pieces becoming more robust in color as time goes by. That surprises me in some ways though, since I began working in nothing but black and white.

this is one of the most amazing paintings and pastel seen, the way you painted that has a style van gogh, and yours, of course, if you'll excuse the audacity to tell you, but that style was characteristic of him, not means that this style is fully exploited in full and this painting is the sign of that. you sell?

I take every bit of what you said as a compliment. Thank you. If you were able to look up close to the piece you will see the pastels drawn on very thick in most places. I spray, re-spray, and add new pastel to it again and again.
Do I sell? Yes.
This piece is used in association with the story about Honey (see journal entry).
