It's a futile question, yes, this I knowbut where did you come from... and where will you go?
It's been a while since I drew Rune or any sort of fantasy-themed anime painting. In fact, i haven't been spending *that* much time on the stuff I've uploaded recently, so it's sort of nice to work on a bigger work.
I'm pretty happy with how the clothing shading came out (yes! the first time I like ribbons in anything I've drawn!), although I think the face and hair could be improved. Rune is my character that I like to draw in melancholy settings with birds. Although I just realized I totally forgot about the bird part here. O___o;;

This is really stunning, probably my favourite drawing of Rune so far o.o I love the background! ^.^ Rune looks so serene yet melancholic.... *gives him a hug* :<

Oh, he's so pretty in this one (even though he looks sad and makes me want to give him a hug)! Love the color scheme, and the wing that looks like it's almost fading away... like... a guy that was an angel once!

There are highlights on his skin the color of his eyes...

I love the hair and the eyes they are most captivating. The wings though seem so...I dunno...plain? their color is so solid/constant where everythign else is incredibly shaded and blended. Very beautiful though ^^
