What program do you use to color your stuff? I'm trying to find a way to color my drawings digitally without having to use a tablet.
Also, I love this, it's awesome!

How do you leave the pencil marks in though, using layers without having to do anything complicated. I have GIMP, just never bothered to actually LEARN how to use it xDDD

Oh! Forgot to mention: it´s also better if you make various layers, one for each "block"of coloring (like, one for the hair, another for the skin etc...), just be careful so that the color don´t overlap too much.

Okay, are you familiar with Bones? I'm writing a Bones/Harry Potter story. I totally want Lyn to meet Tempe! Tempe's good friends with Sev.

Severus and Evelyn would probably not have socialized at Hogwarts. Three years age difference can mean a lot when you're in school. I certainly can't see her interfering with the Marauders -- maybe if she were three years older than them, but not three years younger.
On the other hand, Ravenclaw and Slytherin are sister Houses...

Risking to set myself out for some heavy spoilers...In this alternate reality is quite probable(I´d say CERTAIN) that Evelyn´s older brother, Paul, would have lived to enter Hogwarts (he died at age 11 in regular chronology) and if that was the case he would have been sorted into Slytherin (honouring the Black family tradition ) Now, Paul and Sev are only one year apart in age (Paul being born in 1961), so they would have certainly socialized (actually Paul would have been a somewhat rare case of a muggle born slytherin, and Sev being a half-blood, both in a house where lots of students favour blood purity, seems reasonable that they would gravitate towards each other and even become friends). Paul was very close to his sister and would continue to be in school(as you said, Ravenclaw and Slytherin are sister houses, so different houses wouldn´t interfer much in their relationship), so he might be an element of connection between Severus and Evelyn...BUT I completely agree with you, even with Paul in the picture, three years IS a big difference when you´re young,so Severus would see Evelyn more like "his housemate´s little sister" and not an "equal", I imagine Severus would like her all right since 1)she´s Paul´s sister 2) she´s a Ravenclaw and a "nerd" like himself 3) she wouldn´t care much at all for the Marauders (who are older than her and just not the kind of guys Evelyn would be paying any attention to, except to remark on how moronic they are)
I doo speak too much...sorry

Nothing in canon says Muggleborns can't be Slytherins. I would expect Muggleborns and half-bloods to have more fire-in-the-belly ambition than any rich pureblood born with a silver wand in his hand. Much more the House of insecure mudblood Hermione Granger and social-climbing half-blood Severus Snape than it is of Draco Malfoy, who shows no real ambition because he thinks he’s there already.
Re Sister Houses: To my mind Slytherin and Ravenclaw are the "Head" Houses, Houses of the intellect, while Gryffindor and Hufflepuff are "Heart" Houses, Houses of the emotions. If not for the warped political climate of 1990s wizarding Britain, I would expect Slytherin and Ravenclaw to support each other at Quidditch matches and other instances of inter-House rivalry. I myself am a Ravenclaw with Slytherin envy.

Indeed nothing in canon says muggleborns can´t be Slytherins(which is why Paul would have been one had he lived), but it´s also canon that Slytherin is a house with a fair amount of blood supremacists in them. As for the sorting, I completely agree with you. Sometimes the sorting hat is just way off (Fools like Crabbe and Goyle in the cunning house?). I imagine that the hat takes personal wishes into account a little too much...which sorta explains how people of the same family end up in the same houses so frequently, and how some people just seem completely inadequate for the house they´ve been sorted into(imo Dumbledore should have been a Slytherin, and Hermione would make a fine Ravenclaw.)
I´m also a Ravenclaw with a lot of love for Slytherin and I completely agree with you. Ravenclaw and Slytherin are sister houses, which is precisely why I gave Evelyn so many Ravenclaw characteristics, because I knew it would make her a fair match for Severus. Too bad there was so much anti-slytherin sentiment going on in Harry´s generation(and possibly the generation before him). Undoubtely this sort of expectation contributed to the number of Slytherin dark wizards. If society expects the worst from you, it can be hard to escape the stigma. That´s why in my story Soren, Albus, Scorpius and Lavinia will deal with a lot of anti-Slytherin sentiment in their school days and for the post-war generation of Slytherins, proving their house isn´t just "the house of feath eaters" will become a question of honor.(Most of the next-generation heroes in my story are slytherins, and some Gryffindors will be showing their dark side.)

Crabbe and Goyle belong in Hufflepuff, not because they're stupid (stupidity is no more a defining characteristic of Hufflepuff than is softness or compassion) but because of their loyalty to Draco.
I'm working on a series of Sortings for an Alternate Universe in which the Sorting Hat is a bit more subtle, having been Salazar's kippa rather than Godric's wizard's hat. Goyle goes into Hufflepuff due to his loyalty, and purely for the sake of splitting up the pair I put Crabbe in Gryffindor. He IS reckless enough to call up Fiendfyre when he can't control it.
