Very cool. I saw the movie and was surprised to see Agent Smith as the Red Skull! He is the most evil being in the universe!

It took me about ten minutes to fully realize that's Agent Smith. When he had that whole scene where there were a bunch of him lined up in marching rows I couldn't help but think of the 3rd Matrix movie.

I think Hugo Weaving is a great example of a great actor. Not only can he act like whoa, but in the movie, once he becomes the Red Skull, he stays that way. In these super hero movies some actors would rather have more face time than time in the costume. It's glad to see the actors putting the role at the forefront.

Willing to become the character, not to have the character become you.

Exactly. The Nolan Batman movies are the same way I think. There's no shying away from wearing a mask or paint and getting that character on film. Those are the movies that comic books need, the ones with the actors and actresses and directors who want to put whats great in the comic on film.

Yes, proper representation of the source material, not what the actor/director/EP thinks it to be. A creative spin is good, but one must not take the original material and throw it to the wayside thinking "I know what the world wants." These movies are more than just dross under the guise of a familiar hero, *cough*Dare Devil, Catwoman*cough* they are the comics brought to life in a new way that is different, but still reasonable.
