Haha, you really got his "I don't have time for this!" expression down

Have you heard about the new cast for Episode 7?

Thanks!
Yeah, I've heard about it. I'm quite happy with the cast so far.
Now let's hope they get the rest right, too.

Let's hope. So, I heard you made intern at your job. How're things going over there?

I'm pretty happy so far. I get to work on real projects i can add to my portfolio.
I'll try to find out if and when i can upload something here.
How are you doing?

Very nice. I'm sure you can sneak a thing or two on here with the boss's approval

Everything's good on my end. Lots of drawing, which means lots of experimenting; I've been trying out all kinds of new art supplies and new techniques and camera angles, poses, etc. Just today I did some 5-point perspective, and it was my first time doing so (I guess, I'm kind of a late bloomer?). So it was fun.

Cool! There's no better way to learn than to just experiment as much as you can. I've been trying to use my sketchbook more often lately.
I have never done a 5-point perspective drawing so I guess I'm the late bloomer here!
But then I'm also not too big on perspective in general. Maybe something I should improve upon...

Perspective is best used for backgrounds, which I've been doing (too much) of lately, so that's a good place to start, I'd say.

Yeah, I tend to just eyeball my backgrounds most of the time.
Probably not the most optimal way to go about it though...

Actually that's how I got through the 5-point background--and most of the other ones Grids take too much time when you're on a deadline sometimes; if you feel like you'll do better (and quicker) work just going with what you know, then that's probably the best way to do it. Though it's only best to do if you have some level of experience with the subject in question. I was mostly just doing aisles (it was a store scene), so that simplified it.
