This thing looks so drop dread gorgeous as an 11x17 Print *_*

Yeah I know I'm weird but Mr. Fujimoto is so adorable I can't help it, the heart is blind.

I really challenged myself to draw a better Fujimoto (from my last attempt...). I tried to make Fujimoto as "pretty" as possible without losing the integrity of his visual character.

Completely digitally done, line-art and all. This took so long to do but was worth it.
Hope everyone likes it

I just wanted to say thank you for a great piece of art. I bought this one while at Animefest Dallas this past weekend. I almost bought your other piece the one of Fujimoto & Gran Mamare but i was looking for a Family portrait type piece of fan art and the closest one to a family portrait was this one. I do however, now that I've located your page thanks to picking up one of your business cards while at animefest plan on getting the Fujimoto & Gran Mamare piece.

Lol you almost made me fangirl-squeal at this one. And I NEVER do that normally. XD Totally wonderful!!! That face and body, that's great work. See this is why I love Fujimoto!! Again, I love how you made his face, he doesn't look like some prettified manga-styled character, he has his classy nose and everything, but he still looks quite beautiful. Somehow! You also captured his character nicely! The hair is very pretty, too. You're great at drawing his hair!
Again absolutely wonderful!!! I really love it!

LoL I guess you could say that "fan-girl squeal" was my aim xD I wanted to make something that would do justice for Fujimoto's character and my love for him >u< Pretty, but still true to "him"!

Thank you, I've spent a lot of time studying and drawing his hair XD I think I might have it down as an art.

You're welcome! When I saw that scene when he tried to stop Ponyo to become human...(I was in the Barns and Nobles store when I saw that scene for the first time) I thought Fujimoto is a woman...there was no audio when I saw that there. I'm glad that character was not a woman after all!

Haha yeah. Sorry to interrupt conversation, but my first thought when I saw Fujimoto was "... wow ... I hope this is a guy." xD And when I figured he was (at the very beginning of the movie) I thought "this made my day. I already love this movie." XD

Yeah this is my first painting where designed with textures in mind o3o I really liked how it came out and fujimoto colors are so fun
