Description
You’ve had an easy life. Inheriting a fortune from your parents meant you’ve never wanted for anything. But an easy life can be a boring life. When you can have just about anything, even the exceptional can become mundane before too long.
That’s why you were so excited when one of your contacts brought you a stone slab he discovered in a South American jungle. On it was a painting with three panels, almost like an ancient comic book. The first panel showed an angry mob looking up at an important looking man on a hill. The second panel showed the mob surrounded by floating specks of… something you didn’t recognize. The last panel showed the formally angry mob looking at the man with expressions of love and devotion.
The implications of this painting were intriguing. And you were the only person other than your contact to see it. He knew you payed extra for exclusivity. Best of all, your purchase of the painting came with directions to the hidden temple it was found near. After taking one look at the temple he discovered, he was apparently too frightened to go inside. You had no such fears.
You headed out to examine this temple immediately. If things went like you’d hoped, you’ve be famous for making an incredible discovery. Even if they didn’t, you’d at least have gone on an adventure.
Unfortunately, you quickly discovered why the discoverer feared this place. The temple was filled with deadly traps. Hidden pressure plates the fired poison darts when you stepped on them. Sharp axes that fell from the wall when you got too close. Trap doors that dropped you into seemingly bottomless pits. Before long, all the guides and treasure hunters that you hired to accompany you into the temple were dead. You were lost and alone.
You were about to give up hope when a fierce looking woman appears seemingly from out of nowhere. She introduces herself as Lara Croft and explains that she’s here to try and understand the ancient civilization that built this temple. She didn't seem to know about the painting that led you here and you see no reason to tell her about it. You’re just glad to have someone to guide you out of this deathtrap.
Lara is clearly more prepared for the dangers of the temple than you were. She skillfully avoids the various traps that fill the temple as you journey further in. You're amazed by her braverly, fearlessness, and athleticism. Without her help, you know that you wouldn’t have survived this place. As an added bonus, Lara is very easy on the eyes. Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem too interested in any of your attempts at casual conversation. You’re not sure if that’s because she’s focused on getting through the temple, or if she just doesn’t like you. As someone used to getting your way, you find anyone this attractive not showing an interest in you unacceptable.
After some time walking through a lengthy corridor, Lara stops. “It looks like the path splits here” The passage you’re walking through continues on for as far as you can see, but when you look around you see a path that branches off into who knows where.
Lara shines her light down this new path. The walls are covered in strange red plants that look like nothing you’ve ever seen before. As she moves her light around, you see pollen from the plants floating in the air. Pollen that looks exactly like the floating specks from the painting that led you here.
Now you know which path you want Lara to choose.

As a bit of a scientist and photographer, I decide to be brave and I move toward the plants. "Lara, you can keep moving. I'll check out these flowers and if this path ends in a dead end, I'll try to catch up..." I tell her. From there, I reach into my backpack and grab my camera as well as my knife and a bag I use to keep track of scientific discoveries. That way, I can quickly and somewhat carefully remove the flower without much trouble. Soon, I take a deep breath of mostly clean air before walking into the hallway filled with pollen and examining the plants up close.

"No, I really think we should stick to..." Lara turns to face you, but you're already well down the path with the plants. She watches you head down the path. It seems safe enough. And she doesn't know much about plants, which seems to be your main interest in that area.
Lara decides to let you go while she heads further into the temple. At least this way, she can find any dangers ahead without having to worry about you. She worries that the path you went down could be more dangerous than it seemed, but you were a grown man. If you wanted to split up, she couldn't stop you.
Lara walks forward, eager to explore more of the temple.

Meanwhile, I continue to examine the plants by taking notes of what I'm seeing. I also try to keep my nose and mouth covered with a basic mask to avoid breathing in the pollen. My mask is a basic one that goes over my nose and mouth like what one would use to protect against dust or pollen. Unfortunately, there was some that I ended up breathing in because of a fault in the mask I'm wearing, causing a sort of temporary high like what one could experience while on marijuana.
However, I had written it off as a reaction to the dust in the temple and kept working. Then I quickly cut a couple of the flowers off and placed them in my bag along with some pollen for further study. Then, trying to ignore the somewhat pleasant smell, I continue down the hallway. As I keep moving, I continue shining my flashlight around, as I'm also eager to explore more of the temple. Unfortunately though, this was showing proof of a particular weakness of mine. I had a tendency to sometimes act without thinking, and unfortunately, it would have consequences this time as I continue down the long path as the high I had felt begins to take more of an effect.

Lara continues down her path, avoiding some deadly traps as she goes. Eventually, she finds some paintings on the wall with inscriptions that describe how the people that built this place lived. She spends some time in this area, fascinated by how devoted these people seemed to be to their king.
After enough time passes, she starts to worry about you. The path ahead turns off to the left. It's possible that it could link up with the path you took at some point. Lara heads down it, careful to watch out for any danger as she goes.

Soon, if she were to keep going, she'd end up meeting up with me a short distance away from where my path meets up with hers. However, something seems to be weird with my behavior as I walk over to her. As she sees me, it looks like I'm dazed and slightly confused. It almost looks as if I'm somehow high on something despite having not brought any sort of drugs to the temple.
It becomes clear that there was something on the path I took that messed with my mind, but whether it was the flowers, the pollen, or something else is a bit of a mystery, as well as how I managed to avoid the traps in the path despite having no recollection of it. In addition, it's unclear how bad the effects are. Meanwhile, in my mind, I had sort of blanked out midway through the path and had ended up at the end somehow. However, by this point, I'm a bit too busy experiencing the blissful haze inside my mind to care.

Lara sees you off in the distance, but gets concerned when you don't seem to be acknowledging her presence. Walking quickly to meet you, she sees you moving erratically. You don't seem to be injured, so she can't tell exactly what's wrong. There's something odd about the look on your face.
Lara starts to approach you slowly, unsure how to proceed. "It's me, Lara. Are you alright?"

When she stops in front of me, I stop walking and I look at her, still dazed with a slight smile on my face. Upon hearing her questions, I nod. "Yeah... I'm great... The smell in there was incredible... It was.. so peaceful..." I say. As she talks, I can't help but lock the name "Lara" in my mind as an important name for some reason. After a bit, I look around and at her. "Is there... something you want me to do to help you, Lara?" I ask, still seemingly under the effects of the pollen.

You're obviously under the effect of something, but Lara has no idea what. Lara puts her hands over your face, hoping to make you maintain eye contact. Your eyes seem unfocused. Maybe something down there has hallucinogenic properties. "What smell? Did something happened to you down there?"

"The flowers smelled... really nice... Ignored it for a bit, but
it made me feel really good... Really peaceful..." I say with
that same smile. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to either of us,
the flowers apparently had mind-altering properties, such as
the euphoric drug-like high that I'm experiencing in addition
to increased reception to the suggestions of others. As she
puts her hand over my face, I look at her and her hand with
that same smile on my face.

Lara listens carefully, then takes a moment to consider what you've said. You clearly need help, and you're not going to get that here. "It sounds like the plants you examined effected you in some way. We're going to have to leave this place so you can get some help."
If the plants were the problem, there's no way they should go back the way you came, even though that's the shorter router. They'd have to backtrack along Lara's route, then retrace their steps to get to the exit. Lara takes your hand, hoping to lead you forward. "Come on. Let's go."

"Okay... Let's go..." I say. I then followed her out of the temple
toward the exit. After a bit, it begins to fade very slowly, but
the effect is still there. Soon, we reached the exit of the temple
and I look around, as the trip out of there went by in a blur for
me. "Where do we go now, Lara..?" I ask her as we stop outside.
Meanwhile, it appears as though Lara and I had both forgotten
about the samples of pollen and the flowers themselves that I
had placed in my bag. However, Lara was too focused on getting
us out of there relatively unharmed to remember, while I was
still under the pollen's effects and was trying to focus on following
her.

(Lara can't remember that the plants are in your bag, because she never knew they were there in the first place 
Lara takes a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air once they've gotten out of the temple. "We need to get to the nearest town so we can get you some help. But before we do that, we've got miles of jungle to cover. Did your group use any vehicles to get here?" She looks at you, hoping that you've got a jeep or truck nearby that can get you out of here quickly. As she examines your face, it looks to her that you might be recovering a little from whatever is making you act so strangely, though you're still clearly not completely normal.

(Yeah. I knew that, but I didn't realize how I'd phrased that. Sorry 
Upon hearing her question, I nod. "Yeah... We used some
jeeps and ATVs to get here..." I say. Then I point to a
nearby jeep and lead her over to it. Once we reach it, I
get in and after hearing some request for her to drive, I get
in the passenger seat and give her the keys. After that, I
sit back and enjoy the bliss that I'm feeling. Soon, she
and I quickly head away from the temple in the direction
of the nearest town. Hopefully, I can get help before it's
too late.

Lara makes good time at first, but soon has to slow down, thanks to the uneven terrain and not wanting to get the vehicle stuck in the mud. The temple was fairly cool, but now that they've been in the jungle proper for a while Lara's beginning to feel the heat. She wipes some sweat from her forehead and looks over to you. You look just as hot as she does, maybe more. "You could use some water. Do you have any in your bag?"
Not entirely sure she can trust your answer in your current state, she stops the jeep so she can take a look at your bag.

"Yeah... I could use some water..." I say, showing signs of
the suggestibility effect given by the plant's pollen. After
that, I begin to reach into my bag and I grab onto a plastic
bottle of water that I have. I then take it out, open it up,
and take a drink. Meanwhile, she notices what's in my bag
as I set the bottle down for anyone to grab. Then I simply
sit back and look around as I notice that the jeep is stopped.

She gratefully takes the bottle and drinks from it, regretting that, in her haste to get you some help, she'd neglected to bring her own supplies with her. She plans to return to the temple alone once she's sure you'll recover, so at least they'll be there when she explores the temple more thoroughly.
Placing the bottle back in your bag, she vaguely notices some plant stems sticking out of a compartment, but assumes that's something else you brought with you and doesn't make the connection that they're plants from the temple. Leaving the bag open and placed in between the two of you, she gets the jeep moving again, not yet smelling the faint aroma that's coming from your bag. Lara soon reaches a relatively smooth road and speeds up the jeep, rolling up the windows to keep the wind out... and inadvertently trapping the plant's scent inside the jeep.

Of course, because I was already under the effects of the
plant, it only adds onto the haze in my mind. After a bit,
I end up right back where I was back when Lara had first
found me after we split up. A smile reappears on my face
as I relax and the plant takes effect.
Soon, she and I get closer to the town. Unfortunately, the
plant has had time to spread its scent throughout the jeep,
making it very tough to escape without stopping the car
and leaving. Of course, as the scent spreads, it becomes
more and more apparent. "That smells nice..." I say, getting
Lara's attention.

As Lara continues to drive, she gradually feels calmer, happier, more peaceful. The plant's smell gradually becomes more potent as it slowly fills the closed environment of the jeep. Lara continues to drive, not recalling or caring where she's going, simply because that's what she'd been doing. A smile forms on her face as everything stops mattering to her, everything but how wonderful she feels.
Lara look at you as you speak to her, your words bringing the pleasant smell in the jeep to her attention. "Yeah.... smells nice"
Distracted from the road, Lara drives the jeep into some deep, thick brush. She pushes the peddle all the way down, but the jeep is stuck, it only serves to drive the tires deeper into the dirt. "Uh-oh. Car won't go." She looks at you. "Whaddawe do now?"
Lara giggles, having the time of her life. She's less than a mile from the village, a fact she doesn't know or care about.

As she drives, I begin to feel like I'm essentially up in heaven
because of how good I feel. Not even the jeep getting stuck
could get in the way of that. "Car stuck now..." I say, trying to
think of what to do. "Go back to the temple? Flowers came from
temple..." I ask since I can vaguely remember that this was
where the flowers were. As she giggles, I can't help but laugh
as well as I enjoy the moment and the smell of the flowers that
begin to leak from the car. Once we manage to make a decision
in our delirious state, we start walking with the flower as we
both smile.

"Flowers?" Lara remembers you saying something about flowers before, but it's hard to remember when. But as she sees you reach for your bag to take it with you, she looks down and sees the flowers stored in it. "Oooooh! You brought sommada flowers from the temple with you! That's why I feel sooooooo goooood." Lara laughs as she gets out of the car to follow you. Those flowers smell so nice.
Lara follows you down the path to the temple for a while. You weren't exactly making good time as you drunkenly swerve left and right as you walk. Watching you carry your bag as you walk, Lara suddenly get an idea. She taps you on the shoulder excitedly. "Hey! Can I have a flower from your bag? Please?"

I nod as I hear her realize why she and I started to feel so
good. This causes me to laugh as I find her behavior incredibly
hilarious given how I was effected by the flowers. "Yeeaahhhh...
I think I was walkin' down that one path that had a looooooottt
of these flowers, and they made me feel awesome!" I say with
a smile as I continue to drunkenly stumble. We continued on our
way back to the temple after that.
After a while, we finally began to reach the temple. However, as
I feel her tap me on the shoulder, I stop after stumbling forward
a couple more steps and turning back to face her. "Whatizit?" I
ask with a smile before hearing what she says. I think about it for
a few seconds before I grin and nod. "Suuurrreee! You can have
one!" I say before reaching into my bag. After a bit, I pull out one
of the flowers I'd taken from the temple and give it to her. "Here
ya go! Don't drop it!" I say. After that, I start back toward the
temple, since both her and I each have a flower now.

(Wow. Didn't think we'd make it back to the temple on foot so quickly.)
"OOoooohhh" Lara eagerly takes the flower and smells it, feeling a wave of pure bliss wash over her. "Mmmmm... nice. I never wanna stop feeling this way." She slides the stem of the flower into her hair. "Much better."
She's enjoying herself when she notices you already walking toward the temple without her, which dampens her mood somewhat. She chases after you, grabs you from behind, and spins you around to face her. "Hey! Doncha want me to thank you?" Lara grins before kissing you on the lips.

Of course, Lara grabbing me immediately gets my focus away
from getting to the temple and onto her as she spins me around
to face her. "Well I guess I-." I say before getting cut off by her
kissing me on the lips. With a smile, I decide to pause our journey
back to the temple as I return the kiss, not even caring about
the journey as I think "We've got plenty of time to get there..."
even though the temple is still a pretty long distance away*.
The kiss seems to last for a while as we both seem to be enjoying
ourselves. Soon though, we break the kiss for air and I smile.
"You're welcome, beautiful..." I say with a smirk. Of course,
by doing this, it's clear that I helped her mood at least a bit.
However, something in my mind decides to ask if she'd like
more. "If that's how you're thanking me... I should do this
more often..." I say with a smile before kissing her on the
lips again.

Lara never found you attractive before. In fact, she was rather annoyed with you when she first found you in the temple, since you only seemed to be there for some pointless fun. But taking a deep breath full of the special flower's scent has a way of making anyone near you seen gorgeous. She could tell you wanted her since she saw the way you first looked at her. Only now, she has an intense desire to give you what you want.
Lara already felt amazing, and the constant expose to the scent from the flower stuck on the side of her head made your kiss the greatest kiss she has ever had. When you call her beautiful, she actually blushes. The tough, assertive adventurer you first met is long gone. She eagerly returns your second kiss, wrapping her arms around you as her entire body tingles with pleasure. You gave her the flower that makes her feel so good. Your kisses awaken a passion in her that she's never felt before. You're the perfect man, and she'll do anything for you.

As she and I kiss each other passionately a second time, I smile
as the flower in my bag also helps me feel incredible, especially
when Lara and I kissed. So with a smile, I throw my arms around
her waist and hold her close. Of course, by now, we can both sort
of tell that we're both turned on, especially since we both see the
other person as the most beautiful person on Earth.
So with a smile, we stop heading to the temple. Instead, we focus
on each other. After we break the kiss, I ask her. "Do you, uh,
wanna take this a step further?" I ask. Already, I begin to imagine
her as my perfect woman, along with all of the things I can think
of her doing, and it drives me wild. Hell, if I could do so, I'd likely
sprint from the temple to the town and to the nearest hotel, but
since our car's stuck, I'd settle for where we are. At this point,
either me or Lara's chances of getting back to normal is beginning
to go down, but then again, who cares?

Lara doesn't answer, at least not verbally. She simply grabs your shirt and pulls upward, hoping you'll raise your arms in response so she can take it off. The only thoughts her drugged mind can produce right now involve how amazing you look and taste, and how badly she wants to see you naked. Concerns like how the two of you are going to survive in the middle of the jungle with little food or water are things the old Lara would consider, but she's gone. This Lara isn't much for thinking, only feeling. And right now she's feeling very, very horny.

I smile and raise up my arms. This allows her to quickly take my shirt off and toss it away into a part of the forest that I can't see. Of course, with my shirt gone, she can now see my decently-athletic body, including my somewhat muscular arms and my abs. I then sit back and let her admire it a bit. Meanwhile, I start to help her by unbuckling my pants as I start to remove them. "Do you like something you see, beautiful? Because I definitely see something I like in front of me..." I tell her with a smile as I flirt with her to see how she reacts.

(Wow. Lara's kiss has made you a lot more articulate than you were before 
Lara's eyes widen as her drugged mind shows her the body of an adonis. She moves a hand across your chest, getting more and more turned on as she does so. "You're very fit"
As she sees you start to remove your pants, she pulls her hand back and stares at your junk, biting her lower lip as she does. "You like the view now? It'll be better without all these clothes in the way." She immediately pulls off her shirt, tosses it away, then raises her legs one by one to unlace and toss her shoes away too. Her pants are quickly unbuttoned. She lets them fall to the floor, and as she steps out of them she moves even closer to you, pressing her small, but firm breasts and tight abs against you.
She puts her hands behind your head and give you another very lengthy kiss. As the kiss continues, she lifts up a leg and rubs it against your side before gently pushing you backward. You fall to the ground with Lara on top of you, her hands, legs and lips still caressing your body.

'Which way do you think will lead us to where we need to go?' He questions. 'The first path looks longer, but there's something about the second, the one with all those plants, that gives me the creeps. I understand if you're too scared to go down that one.'

Lara raises an eyebrow. She's been keeping you alive ever since you first met, and you have the nerve to suggest that she's too scared!
But she supposes she can't be too upset. It's a typical guy response. You don't want to admit you're scared, so you suggest someone else to save your ego. She'll humor you, up to a point. "Look at the way those plants are arranged along the walls. There must be something special about this path to have plants laid out like that. And look at the plants themselves. I've never seen anything like them. We may have discovered a species that man hasn't laid eyes on in centuries!"
Lara give you a reassuring look. "Come on. We need to examine this area closer. Just stay near me and we'll be safe. I promise." She slowly starts to walk toward the area with the plants.

He hesitates, hanging around the entrance to the corridor without going in, clearly waiting for her to forge ahead and take the lead. 'I don't know why you're so fascinated by a bunch of flora, but if you insist. I'll be right behind you when you need back up.'

Back up? Lara grins at the idea. "Sure. You just stay here. I'll come back when I'm finished looking around"
Lara steps forward, cautiously at first, but after she doesn't find any traps proceeds at a normal pace. You see small bits of red pollen floating in the air around her as she enters the area with the plants. She walks over to one wall to examine them. "These plants really are like nothing I've ever seen before. And the smell is quite pleasing."

He watches her go forward with a smirk, shining his flashlight after her. 'Describe them to me Lara! Is it safe down there, what do you see?'

"There's no need to worry! It's perfectly safe! This area must have been used in some sort of ritual. There's nothing dangerous here. The plants are all arranged carefully in these very ornate bowls. It's remarkable that they've survived down here with so little light for so long." She takes a deep breath, enjoying the scent of the flowers.

'What kind of ritual? How old is this place?' He watches her with great interest as she takes in the aroma of the plants. 'Get a bit closer to them. Tell me what they smell like.'

She's about to turn away and examine the area further when you ask her to tell you what the flowers smell like. She looks back at the plants, lowers her head so she's practically kissing the nearest flower, and breathes in. "They smell sweet. It's a potent, heady aroma." There's a smile on her face as she speaks.

This is it, he thought as he watched the flowers work on her, these were truly the same flowers from the painting, and now he was seeing them work first hand. He was going to be rich... Amongst other benefits.
'Maybe you should try and gather a few of them up. So that we can study them later and see if they're really a new species.'

She looks over to you, still smiling. "Yeah. Good idea." Taking out her knife, she starts cutting some of the flowers free and placing them in the small pouch she has with her. "You should come and take a look at this place. It's really very lovely."

He hesitates for a moment, both wanting to get a closer look at what is happening, and not wanting to be effected by whatever powers these plants seemingly possessed. 'I'll be right over.' He covered his nose with one hand, assuming that the scent of these plants was the property which gave them their influence. He then walked closer to Lara, examining the room around them.

Lara turns to at you as you hears you get closer, a look of peace and contentment on her face. "Isn't it beautiful here?"
She notices you covering your nose. "What's wrong?"

'Allergies,' he lies hurriedly, trying not to draw suspicion. 'It really is beautiful.' He examines the flowers more closely, looking at the bowls and the apparent ritual with great interest. 'Almost makes you forget why you're even here.'

"Why I'm... here?" Your words seem to have reminded Lara that she intended to examine this whole area. She slowly, reluctantly, turns away from the plants and moves her flashlight along the walls, looking for writing or any other clues to the original meaning of this place.

Noticing her seemingly regain her sense of purpose, he attempts to subtly waft more of the flowers closer to her, with the hand not still concealing his nose. 'Why don't we keep going further down the corridor? There's got to be something interesting down here somewhere.'

"Yeah... you're right...there's got to be something interesting down here" She speaks slowly, robotically, as the intoxicating smell of the flowers continues to overwhelm her. Her steps are slow and even a little unsteady as she makes her way down the passage, scanning the floor and walls with her flashlight, and always flanked by the plants on either side.

He follows behind her, keeping a safe distance so that she would be the first to disturb the plans and hopefully receive the brunt of their effects. 'You seem a little bit unsteady up there Lara, are you quite alright? Perhaps you need me to come and help support you?'

She looks back at you and smiles, showing far more warmth toward you than she had in the past. "You're very kind. I feel wonderful...but... if you think it would help" She stops walking and waits for you to catch up.

He increases excitedly his pace until the two of them are level, putting one arm around her shoulder in the guise of support. He could clearly see that the plants had affected her greatly, but he didn't know yet how far he would be able to push his luck with her. 'Have you seen anything that might reveal the origin of this place?' He slowly shifts his hand downwards, dropping from her shoulder until is is placed firmly upon her ass.

"No, I haven't seen anything like that yet." But ever since you moved next to her, she hasn't really been looking at the temple. She's only been staring at your face, examining it, as is she's seeing you for the first time. When your hand moves to her ass, something that would have gotten you a punch to the face only minutes ago, her smile widens.
