Description Jumanji. Another boring looking game about a bunch of heroes saving the world. None of the choices in the character select screen seemed appealing in the least. You wished you had a game that let you play as someone other than a hero. It would be so fun to play as someone with an edge, someone that let you enjoy letting out your dark side.

Just as those thoughts flashed through your head, you moved the controller down one more space and found that you were highlighting something other than the four names in front of you. A secret character! Hoping you've finally found something cool about this game, you hit the start button, and immediately find yourself transported to the middle of the jungle. Somehow, you'd been pulled into the game!

You wander the jungle, amazed at how lifelike it all is, but soon you're stopped by two men in combat fatigues, carrying some very big guns. Surprisingly, they don't attack. Instead, they salute you and lead you to their camp.

The soldiers in the camp look at you with reverence as you approach. One of them rushes over, announces that they've detected four intruders, and leads you to a trailer at the center of the camp. The inside of the trailer looks much more comfortable and high tech than anywhere else in the camp, with soft seats, televisions, odd looking control panels, and video game consoles inside. You're shown a monitor displaying video from four different cameras, showing four different people wandering separately through the jungle. You recognize them instantly as the four Jumanji characters you didn't pick when you started the game.

So other people have been pulled into this game along with you, and they hadn't found each other yet. You ask the soldier if you can meet them, and he informs you that men have already been sent to capture or kill them if they resist, per your standing orders.

You react with shock, asking the soldier why he'd want to harm those people. He gives you a puzzled look. "Before you arrived, we were a peaceful people. Then you came and showed us your games." He gestures to the video games in the trailer. "They taught us that your way was the true way. The way of obedience."

You can tell by his voice that he'd do anything you asked. You can also tell by the dull look in his eyes that he, and every other soldier here, was being controlled. That's when it hit you. You aren't supposed to meet up with the other four players to beat the game together. Jumanji only had four heroes. You were the end boss. Your job was the stop them. From here, you could set all the dangers of the jungle onto the four heroes. Or as you were starting to think of them, your four opponents.

You wonder if you would get some kind of prize for winning, then glance over at the monitor again. Three of the heroes didn't interest you much, but the fourth had definite appeal. The soldiers here... your men... could keep the others occupied, while you gave Ruby Roundhouse, killer of men, your personal attention. Gaining control of that sexy redhead was all the incentive you needed to play the part of the villian. You'd wished for a game that would let you explore your dark side, and now Ruby was about to play your game.

I was bullied since i began the school. One day I hiding in the gym's werehouse. In that room was a console with a game: Jumanji.

I was curious. In the menu of characters, I choose the character that I liked more: The mesmerist, master of the mind. Powers: Hypnosis, mind control, manipulation...
In an instant, the game was absorbing me. I was in a jungle. In that moment i comprehended that i was inside the game. Thi is gonna be fun.
..............................................................
One month later:

In all this time, I rule the jungle of Jumanji how the supreme lord. One day, i saw a woman disoriented. According with the instructions of the game that is Ruby Roundhouse, killer of men. This was not a NPC, this was an avatar of a real person. That could be interesting. With my magic coin in my pocket i approached to her. Showing her the money in front of her, I said:-Hi, what are you doing in this place?-.

(playing the villain character as a female, avatar looks like Scarlett Johansson for context)

I Look down at my avatar, looking around at it to find any clues to find any HUD or stats, I find 3 marks on my left hand right where my pulse would be. I shrug and continue my search, tapping my left breast summons a readout listing my abilities, I smirk upon seeing it.

"Finally. Ms. Natalie Torres, the scandalous seductress?" I look down at my body again, getting a better view of my avatar's impressive figure, shrugs. "Makes sense, strengths: stealth, persuasiveness, perception, hypnotic eyes?" I tilt my head, trying to figure out how that would work. "Ookkaay. Weaknesses: Defense? Defense is a weakness?" *I look to my men, still waiting for my orders, surprisingly not finding the floating readout weird. One suggests that maybe it represents a lack of defense.

"Alright, and...sexy redheads? So, what? A ginger walks up to me, flicks me in my forehead and I explode?" *I look to my men again, they just shrugged. The one from earlier says that perhaps it's my preference, before his eyes widen, he must think he said something out of line as the others are just as shocked. I reassured him he's fine and that nothing is wrong, though that's something you shouldn't just bluntly blurt out, they calm down.

I look to the screens again, seeing the four other player- er, my opponents still walking through the jungle, all of them still separated.

"Alright!" I shout with confidence, "I want the three men separated and taken care of quickly and preferably quietly, leave the woman to me."

They all salute, shouting something I didn't understand, I rolled with it, and they all walked out before shouting orders to the other men to prepare an ambush. I turned my attention back to the monitor, eyeing the woman with a lustful gaze, Ruby was her name? Fitting. I bet she'll be fun.

(I see that you joined DeviantArt today. Welcome! Is this your first RP? It's very well written.)

The woman known as Ruby Roundhouse marches through the jungle. At first, she was shocked to have been transported to this strange environment, but after discovering her list of strengths and weaknesses, she began to warm to the idea of being the master of several different combat techniques. If she was going to be trapped in a video game, at least she was playing a cool character. Though she didn't understand why Ruby Roundhouse, killer of men, would want to walk through the jungle in shorts and a midriff baring top.

After walking for some time, a man driving a jeep stops in front of her and invites her to hop in. At first, she's excited to meet another human being, but his odd, repeated speeches quickly identify him as an NPC. As he drives her through the jungle, Ruby listens to his story of the wicked Natalie Torres and how she seduced the people of the jungle to do her bidding. Ruby was meant to meet up with her fellow resistance fighters and use their combined abilities to end her control of Jumanji. The driver drops her off in sight of what looks like a small settlement and drives off.

So there were other players in the game after all. From his description, they seemed to be all guys. Maybe Ruby's skimpy outfit wasn't so bad after all. Guys in video games always wants her attention when they discovered she was a girl. Once these other players saw her sexy avatar, all it would take was a little flirting for them to gladly make her the leader. Then she could lead them to victory and save Jumanji.

It was still a little scary to be trapped inside a video game, but so far, this game looked like it could be fun.

(first deviant art rp, happy you liked it, btw gonna switch between first and third person depending on what's easier to write)

Having superior tech to nearly everyone else in the jungle had it's advantages, like always knowing where your opponents are, Natalie on the occasion checked in the on the three male players, the small one with the backpack was quickly apprehended, though getting him to shut the hell up was an issue. The fat one was being led into a trap. "Excellent." She thought to herself. The large one, Bravestone was his name? Probably, she didn't pay to much attention to the hero on the start up screen, anyway, he was going to be an issue. Luckily, she sent her best men with the most effective guns and ranged weaponry she could offer and gave one piece of advice: "Stay the hell out of melee range and shoot the hell out of him on sight, if he respawns shoot him again."

She switched the screen back to her prize, Ruby. She was dropped off by an NPC in a small settlement. "A resistance? Shouldn't be too much of an issue." She was thinking of stealth-fully entering the village, but it's likely that the NPC's knew her face and would start a panic...a panic. Natalie smiled to herself, and pulled out a walkie talkie as she parked her Jeep near the settlement but just out of sight.

"We need some men to start a panic over here, just come out guns blazing, pretend you're after something, someone, you think there's a spy, whatever. Just cause some chaos, but make sure Ruby Roundhouse remains unharmed." She thought for a moment. "Actually, I've got a better idea, back her into a corner or alleyway and I'll jump in as her rescuer and bring her back to camp which we will disguise as a resistance base. Leave getting her there to me, she's all mine."

Ruby approaches the village. If she's lucky, her fellow players came here too. Once she met up with her team, they could start kicking ass and saving these people from Natalie Torres.

The people she saw walking through the village didn't exactly look oppressed, but she supposed looks could be deceiving. Some of the food and equipment they were selling in the carts and shops she passed looked good, but there was no place to store money in her skimpy outfit. Ruby wished one of her teammates had a big backpack on him that could store everything they'd need on this adventure. That would certainly be helpful.

Ruby hoped a least one of the shopkeepers would at least give her information for free, but every time she asked if anyone had seen Smolder Bravestone, they all just asked her if she wanted to buy something, showing only the limited dialog of an NPC. This was going to be harder than she thought.

The sound of loud vehicles could be heard approaching the village, atleast 10 jeeps entered the town and surrounded all exits, men armed with guns, explosives, and other weaponry exit their vehicles. It would be assumed these men worked for Torres, though these men just looked like insane radicals. The men threw out flash bangs, and began to fire their guns in the air, threatening the village folk, a few would take hostages interrogating them about the resistance. Men would approach the shop Ruby was standing at, threatening the man. Ruby would've stepped in, but atleast two more stepped in front of her, asking her what she knows about the resistance.

Ruby is caught completely off guard by the arrival of Torres' men. She'd expected to at least be able to meet the other people on her team first. She takes a deep breath. She can handle this. She's Ruby Roundhouse, after all. Killer of men.

As the two guards continue to question her, Ruby punches one in the face, then expertly dodges a swing by the second guard. A few perfectly placed blows later, and the two guard are on the ground, unconscious. Ruby smiles to herself. She really does know martial arts. This is going to be fun.

She sees another group of guards harassing some villagers and rushes to their rescue. She's able to knock out the group of four, but it takes considerably more effort. Ruby looks around the village as she catches her breath. There are a lot more guards walking around, shooting seemingly at random. There's too many for even her to deal with on her own. Where the hell were these other players she's supposed to meet?

Natalie smirks at her monitor, the cartographer was sealed in a temple, a large boulder blocking his only means off escape. The mouse was safely and efficiently transported via helicopter over a ravine filled with albino rhinos, currently   being interrogated about the jaguar's eye. He had no idea what that was, but what mattered is that he was kept busy. As for Bravestone, he was busy with constant fighting with seemingly endless snipers and gunmen after him. Apparently, mook NPC's just kinda wake up after a while of being dead instead of respawning. Torres found that pretty funny.

She switched her feed back to Ruby, currently surrounded by the chaos in the village. Nat grabbed her walkie talkie: "I need to make this look convincing, you are just a group of radical maniacs as far as she's concerned, make sure you don't show any signs of being affiliated with me. Force her into an alleyway or a wall, and allow me to slip in and kick enough ass so she'll trust me. No hard feelings boys, just make it look real enough."

The men on the other side grunted in agreement, Natalie left her Jeep and changed out of her villainous body suit and into a more casual-ish jungle attire, and made her way into the chaotic settlement undetected.

(Can you go into more detail about what you're wearing? Is it jungle camo or something less military?)

Despite Natalie's effort to make it seem like she's not involved, since Ruby only knows about one evil group in this game, she assumes she's fighting Torres' army. At first, being able to beat up all these men with guns was fun, but there seemed to be an infinite supply of them, and Ruby was getting tired. If those teammates of hers don't show up soon, she might have to run away. But she was enjoying being a badass too much to want to escape from a fight. She decides to keep beating up these goons, for now. Thankfully, they didn't seem to be very good shots.

(her normal outfit, the bodysuit was basically the black widow suit but instead of black it's camo. Her current outfit is something similar to Indiana Jones, it's not military at all so she doesn't appear to be a threat, btw this plan is banking on that Ruby doesn't know what Natalie looks like as she can't disguise herself)

Natalie easily slipped through into the chaos, several of her men running past her, some had to face her in combat to keep up her ruse, she defeated them quickly with as little pain as possible. They understood and kept up the act. Nat ran through the chaos to find Ruby surrounded by her men...doing that fight her one at a time thing despite surrounding her in a circle. Normally she hates when mooks do this when she plays games, it makes them look stupid, but here? She was thankful because it makes her job easier.

She runs in, taking down two mooks by bashing their heads together like batman from the arkham games. She quickly took down the rest of the mooks in close proximity before reaching her hand out to Ruby, signaling her to take it. "We need to get out of here, I can explain." Her eyes faintly glowing, her persuasiveness beginning to kick in.

(As you may be able to tell from all my RP posts about her, I have kind of a thing for Black Widow I don't see any reason why Ruby would know what Natalie looks like, so your evil plan should be fine. )

Ruby wasn't sure how much longer she could keep this up. She was backed up against a wall, surrounded by goons, thinking she should have run while she had the chance. At least she's going to go down fighting.

She takes a breath, gets ready to hit the nearest goon, then stops as she sees two goons to her right fall down. Some guy dressed a bit like Indiana Jones starts expertly taking down the remaining goons as Ruby watches in awe. He did that almost as well as she would have.

Her savior turns to Ruby, showing Ruby his face for the first time. It's not a guy at all, but a girl. And it's clearly not an NPC. Ruby takes the hand offered to her and leaves with the mystery woman, very much looking forward to her promised explanation.

(I assumed that when she first was told about Nat, she would see a cutscene about her backstory like Van Pelt's cutscene from Welcome To The Jungle, xD)

She leads Ruby to her Jeep out of the village, taking her sweet hat off to rub her forehead. "Jesus, those fanatics are viscous aren't they? They think they work for that chick Torres, they're just using that as an excuse to pillage and kill people, it's practically suicide to fight them off solo, you did great for a while though." Natalie puts her hand back on before reaching her hand out to Ruby again. "Hello, I'm Samantha."

(Well since you need her to not know what you look like, let's just say she got the information verbally since Bravestone wasn't there to read his letter. By the way, I'm going to assume your character has Black Widow red hair unless you say otherwise.)

When Natalie take her hat off, Ruby stares at her full, shoulder length hair with envy. It takes Ruby a second to remember that she's also in the body of a gorgeous, fit woman. She also notes with satisfaction that her hair color actually looks real, unlike this new girl's. She puts these jealous thoughts aside when her savior extends a hand. "Thanks for saving me back there, Sam. Uh... can I call you Sam? Where did you came from? Did you get sucked into the Jumanji game too? How long have you been here? Have you met anyone else like us?"

She blurts out all her questions all at once. A nervous habit. In the real world, she's not very good a casual conversation.

(Natalie's hair is blonde with a red highlight, btw I'm kinda rolling with that npcs and residents of the jumanji game are on some level aware of the fact they're in a game and either think the weird stuff is normal or just don't give a shit)

Ruby's mini rant took Natalie off guard for a moment, unsure of what to say. Given how her villainous character was initially "somewhat" a secret, it's safe to assume she isn't aware of a fifth player character. "You can call me Sam, it's fine. I've been here for awhile, treasure hunting." She decided it's probably way easier to sell herself as an actually competent AI controlled NPC. "Jumanji is just such a strange and unique place I couldn't help but want to check it out," As "Sam" talked, she climbed into her Jeep and beckoned Ruby to do the same.

"First I heard of the relic called the Jaguar's Eye, sounds mystical, I know. It's said to give the owner full control over the creature's in Jumanji, but I've seen movies and I know taking stuff like that never works out for anyone, so skipped out on that and I'm settling for something more mundane," She paused for dramatic effect to sell the possibility of her being an NPC. "A city of gold."

Ruby is very confused. Sam didn't exactly answer her question about being a real person, but she was talking more like a real person than any of the NPCs she's met. At the same time, there was something odd about the way Sam talked that Ruby couldn't put her finger on. She gets into the jeep, but in her confusion, she only halfway pays attention to the story about the Jaguar's Eye. Even a mention of a city of gold doesn't get much of a reaction from Ruby. She's too busy staring at Sam's face for clues. "So... um.... is that a yes on you being a real person or.... ?"

Sam laughs a bit. "Course I'm real, and so are the animals, people and all the jungle around here. Otherwise we wouldn't be here would we?" Sam wasn't exactly the best at talking like an NPC, but she was positive her persuasiveness would pick up the slack for her. As she began to drive off, she reaches for the radio, turning it on so the two could listen to some music. "So, what brings you to Jumanji?"

(Good to know. Aside from that last movie, I don't know much Jumanji lore. Maybe if that book showed Karen Gillan in a skimpy outfit, I'd have been more interested.)

As 'Sam' focuses on persuading Ruby, Ruby finds herself nodding all through Sam's speech. After all, why wouldn't she nod? It all makes perfect sense. Sam belongs here, with the other inhabitants of Jumanji.

Now fully persuaded of Sam's status, Ruby eagerly answers her not very NPC-like question. "I'm on a mission to end Natalie Torres' control of the jungle. But to do that, I need to find my friends Smolder Bravestone..." She thinks hard, trying to recall the other names. "... Professor Oberon... and... uh... the third one. You want to help us free the jungle right? Do you know any place I can look for my friends?"

They were all very muscular, but even at a distance Ruby got the impression no one here was too bright. Still, this could be where her new partners headed to when they were taking in to the game.

Once Ruby was in the bazaar and out of hearing range, Natalie pulled out her walkie talkie to inform her men in the bazaar to remove any posters of her from sight and burn them so Ruby wouldn't get suspicious, She then pulled out her monitor to check on the other players. Bravestone was still running for his life, the mouse was still being annoying...but Oberon? He was screaming about something related to a city of gold hidden in the jungle. "No way!" Ruby was excited when she first found herself in Jumanji, but the excitement has worn off. After all, what's the point of being a sexy badass if there's no actual people around to impress?

Everyone responds to her questions with mute shrugs, so Ruby walks through the shabby looking bazaar, hoping to find some clues. Everything seems hastily put together. All the signs and posters are hung over other signs and posters. She's about to peel a poster back to see what used to be there when she spots a group of traders burning something.

She cautiously approaches. "Hey guys. Whatcha doing?"

The men doing the burning ignore Ruby, one replying that they're burning wanted posters as the criminal depicted was recently caught and now there's no need for them.

Meanwhile, Natalie was gathering information on the city of gold her men are forcing out of Sheldon. Apparently, the city is almost entirely hidden and there's one NPC in the game that knows how to get to the entrance to the city, and he happens to be in the bazaar. "Lucky me." Natalie thought to herself. She flicked back through the monitor, everything was looking fine, especially Ruby. She wound up staring at Ruby's spectacular legs, moving up to the short shorts that complemented her ass very well. Natalie shook her head. "Later." She said to herself.

Ruby was blissfully unaware of the camera moving up her long legs as she tried to figure out what was going on. Since the people here were clearly not going to be any help, she quickly reaches around one of them and grabs a poster from the fire. The poster shows the image of a woman wearing a skintight camo bodysuit that's doing a good job of showing off her figure. The face is pretty badly burned, but the woman's hair is blonde with red highlights. It kind of reminds Ruby of Sam's hair. "Who is this woman and why are you burning her picture?"

Quickly realizing that she wasn't going to get an answer, Ruby starts to leave. There's nothing for her here.

Ruby's long legs and generally excellent physical condition allow her to easily keep up with Sam. As much as she wants to go home, she has to admit that she likes being like this. It occurs to Ruby that she's in the body of an action hero, but she's been letting all these NPCs lead her around. That hasn't gotten her anywhere. She needs to take charge.

Once they get to the jeep, Ruby hops into the driver's seat. This time Sam seems just as confused as she is. She'll be no help. "Get in! This time I'll drive!"

As soon as Sam's inside, Ruby hits the gas, driving away as fast as the jeep can take them.

"Damn it, the one person that knew about the city was back there!" "Sam" moaned in frustration. She has no idea who those guys were and why they were attacking, maybe a few of her men just decided to create chaos to force her and Ruby together? She didn't know and she didn't care at the moment as she was more worried on whether or not they were going to crash moving this quickly.

"I don't care about your stupid city!" She makes a sharp right turn a little too fast, almost causing the jeep to hit a tree, and forcing Sam to bump into Ruby. "I just want to find my friends, kick Natalie Torres' ass, and get out of here!"

Once she's convinced they were far enough away, Ruby stops the jeep. "Now if you want to make yourself useful, help me search this jeep for some flares."

"Sam" was taken aback by Ruby's burst of anger, but complied and found a some flares in the glove compartment. "Firstly, flares would only draw attention from Torress' army, which we do not want. Secondly, the city is unknown to literally everyone in Jumanji except for one person. If we find the city then your friends, we can regroup in the city out of her reach and plan something there."

"I already told you, I don't care about your stupid city." Ruby takes the flare gun and loads a flare into it. "I'm going to find my friend, free this jungle, and go home. That's it." It felt good to finally be taking charge. Her plan might not work, but at least it's her plan. She can't do much worse that she did follow these NPCs anyway. "Now we're going to keep driving  until I find some high ground, then we're going to use these flares to signal my friends over to us."

Ruby is about to take the rest of the flares from Sam, then remembers that her outfit is designed more for sex appeal than storage space. She could really use a sidekick with a nice, big backpack.

"You would be signaling Torres' army where we are the moment you fire a flare, and we're just two people, we are in no position to take that kind of risk." "Sam's" eyes faintly glowed, she needed to get Ruby to cooperate if she wants to have her. "I suggest we lay low and stay out sight until we find your friends. Okay?"

"I...I...." Her resistance to Sam's idea fades as Ruby looks into her eyes. Suddenly, Sam's suggestion makes perfect sense. "Yeah. We should lay low and stay out of sight. Good idea."

Ruby's fiery determination to carry out her plan has faded. She puts the jeep back in drive and lightly puts her foot on the accelerator. "Let's see if we can find some place to hide."

"Sam" pulls out a map of Jumanji. "There are a few more remote parts of jungle we're close too...ooh! This one apparently lacks any dangerous wildlife and we should be coming up to it in about 8 minutes." As they drove through the jungle, "Sam spent her time checking the map, their surroundings, or checking Ruby out.

Ruby is too focused on the road ahead to notice Sam checking her out, but that doesn't mean Sam isn't in her thoughts. The silence as she continues to drive gives her time to think about what's been going on since she's arrived in Jumanji. Why is Sam so eager to stay with her, when everyone else here is content to say a few word and then leave? How much does she really know about her?

Ruby puts these thoughts aside as they arrive at their destination. She parks the jeep under some trees for cover, then looks down at her flare gun. "I guess I don't need this. We should lay low." She puts it back in the glove compartment and gets out of the jeep.

Pulls out camping supplies from the back of the jeep, as "Sam" notices it's getting dark. "Sun's going down, we should rest."

Ruby opens her mouth to object, but soon decides against it. Maybe Sam's right. There's not much they can do in the dark. "Okay. How do you use that stuff?" She looks over the camping gear Sam pulled out. "I've never really been the outdoorsy type."

"I'll assemble the tent," "Sam" says as she pulls out a bag from the back of the Jeep. "You can help clear out a bit of the plants to make space."

Ruby sighs and starts picking up clutter from the area to toss into the woods. When she first arrived here, she thought it was the start of an exciting adventure, but it sure hasn't turned out that way.

"Sam" sets up the tent in the cleared area. Before walking behind the jeep to change into more comforable sleeping clothing. "I just spare clothing in the back, if you want."

(I get that, but your last sentence might be missing a word. Is Sam offering her some clothing she found in the jeep?)

(Yeah, spare sleepwear in the back, I'm trying to imply that Natalie was either aware that stuff was in there the whole time, or packed it herself "offscreen" sorry if that was unclear)
