This shirt covers up too much. I should take it off. How else is anyone going to know what a great body I have?Victoria pulls her shirt up past her stomach before stopping herself. She can't believe what she almost did. What had possessed her to think about taking her shirt off while she was crossing the street? She was checking her phone, then the idea just sort of... came to her.
She looks at her phone again. Everything seems normal at first. But as she concentrates on the screen, really focuses on it, words start to briefly flash in her mind. RELAX. SUBMIT. OBEY.
Victoria quickly moves her eyes away from the phone. Something was very, very wrong here. As she thinks back to the rest of her day, she realizes that what just happened on that street wasn't the first time she's spaced out today. She was late leaving home this morning because she'd spent way too long staring at her laptop, daydreaming about how nice it would be to just give up her job, forget all her responsibilities, and spend every day just relaxing. Hours later, she had passed an electronics store that had a romantic comedy playing on their display televisions. She suddenly found herself thinking that it would be wonderful if she had someone special in her life to make all her decisions for her, so she would never have the stress of thinking for herself again.
Victoria never had thoughts like that before today. The only conclusion she could come to was too fantastic to be believed. Could someone have found a way to influence people through electronic screens? The idea was ridiculous, but what other explanation was there?
As she wonders what to do next, Victoria sees someone in the distance. Now that she thinks about it, this was the first person she'd seen outside in quite some time. Maybe this person could help her. Or maybe she was looking at the person responsible for trying to brainwash her. After giving it some thought, she realizes that she has no choice but to head toward the figure in the distance. There was no one else around to help her, and she couldn't figure this out on her own.
She walks forward slowly, making sure to keep her head down to avoid any further unwanted influence. But electronics were everywhere. How long could she keep this up?

I smile at the beautiful woman before me walking innocently along the sidewalk. Victoria kept walking, uneasy, until she felt the oddly crunchy sensation of the ground beneath her feet. She looked down and saw her toes, realizing she had kicked her shoes off somewhere along the way. She suddenly got the urge to unzip her pants, and she began to panic.

He had done more than just possessed her thoughts. He made her see things, illusions. What program he installed onto the cyber network was more powerful than anyone could have imagined possible. For just as she spotted him, he adjusted the program's effects once again. So that the next time to she looked at a screen, which was quite hard to do in Times Square, and then looked back up, she would noticed that she was not the only one affected. And she would notice that the streets were more populated than she remembers. No, everyone around her too would struggle to take their clothes off. Everyone except him, and the rest of the men. It seemed to have no effect on them. But for now, he'd played the clueless victim. "Hey!" he yelled at a distance. "You look like you could use some help!"

Victoria looks confused for a moment, unsure of how to even begin to explain herself. "Er, yes, I do need help, thanks. I think something strange is going on here. Have you been thinking any strange thoughts today? Have things you don't normally think about just popped into your head? That's been happening to me. I think someone's trying to take control of everyone!"

He looks at her, and almost laughs at her. "No! What kind of nonsense is that? Taking control of something. You can't be serious. You think someone is powerful enough to take control of everyone? Please. My day has gone completely normal."

Victoria sighs. She knew it would be hard to convince someone of her crazy story, but she never expected this response. Did he really not notice anything wrong all day? No, he has to be mistaken. There's no way she was imagining this. "Completely normal? Um... are you sure? Don't you think it's weird that we're the only two people around?"

"Packed?! What are... you.... talking..." Victoria looks around at the empty streets and her eyes are drawn to a giant billboard advertising a new show coming out next week. She can't help but find it interesting, so interesting that she makes a mental note of the day it's supposed to start. When she finally looks away, she can't help but notice that the area is packed with the usual crowd of people. "Wait, have the people really been here the whole time?"

He looks intently at all. "Of course, where else would they have gone? You seriously haven't noticed any of them?" He pauses. "Are you sure you don't need help with anything at all? You don't seem to be alright. I know a few people who might be able to help. All I know is that you are acting weird."

Victoria can't help but think that he might be right. How else could she explain not seeing all these people a moment ago? "What kind of people? How do you think they can help me?"

"They call themselves the Saviors. They save people from extraordinary circumstances like yours. I'm not entirely sure about their methods, but you can discover all you want about them on the web. Go ahead, see for yourself." He points to her phone, beckoning her to follow his advice, hopefully tricking her into submission.

Victoria hesitates, unsure if looking at her phone is a good idea. "I... I don't know. I know you don't believe me, but I still think there's something weird going on with electronics."

He sighs. Of course, the source of all this. She's more resistant than he thought she'd be, than others have been. He rests a hand on her shoulder. "Would it help if I look at the screen, with you?"

Victoria takes a moment to consider this. It would be terrible if two people were effected instead of one, but maybe she can help this stranger see what she saw. "Okay. But just try and concentrate on the screen. Maybe you'll see the same messages I saw."
She holds her phone in front of the both of you and searches for "saviors". Nothing like you described comes up, of course. But despite her disappointment, she doesn't want to look away.

Of course, knowing that whatever was going on only affected females, he had nothing to worry about. And he smiled as Victoria returns her gaze on her device. Sure, "saviors" didn't exist, but he was certain Victoria wouldn't have the chance to question him about it. Because while the results were empty, her screen was not. Those same commands appeared before her:

As much as she wants to continue enjoying this cute guy's praise, Victoria knows she has to stop this before it goes any further. "We... er... we still need to let everyone here know that they're being controlled! You and I don't seem to be affected, so it's on us to warn everyone."

Victoria hesitates. All the attention for herself. That sounded so tempting. Pleasing men... obeying men... there was nothing more enjoyable. But Victoria couldn't think only of her own pleasure. Those poor women needed her help.
