I agree. When the Japanese pronounce English words incorrectly then I understand fixing it for a US translation. (For example: Alucard from Hellsing.) But when a Japanese word or name gets translated to English it should go without saying that it's supposed to be an R not an L. If they speak "Kirara" then we should also say it as "Kirara." To assume they meant "Kilala" and just couldn't pronounce it properly is pretty silly... since it's a Japanese word to begin with!!! But, when the official English is Kilala, I go with it. If they can pronounce our words wrong I guess I can pronounce theirs wrong too. It's only fair, right?

I'm always torn between using the the Japanese pronunciation or the English pronunciation. I went with Kilala because that's how they say it in English. Technically it should be written 雲母, (I hope that japanese writing shows up here.) but it can be romanized either way. Yeah, too cute. I like it though.
