I was invited to participate in "Girls United: Haiti through Our Eyes" ...an art, writing and empowerment program funded by the United Nations Foundation, Meridian Health Foundation and Full circle Learning.This is me, John Paul Thornton, leading a round of theater activities at a YWCA in Port Au-prince, Haiti

You are an adult, a dad, non threatening and you talk to and with the girls instead of at them. You can goof off and have silly fun in their presence, with no belittling of anyone. Yes, they are going to relax a bit and join in the fun.
