Description A quick shot taken before recording some drums in Academy Studios, late June to early July ...

I was listening a lot to 'Glorious Fool' by John Martyn at the time and I took the backs off of my toms to try and get that concert tom bark like Phil Collins' early 80's drum sound ... to hear what they sound like, have a listen here [link] and listen to 'Low' on which I play the Drums & Bass, the other tracks I play Keyboards on ...

Just opended the curtains and set everything to "auto" on my little digital camera, then mucked about with the contrast etc on Paint.NET

What make kit is it? I'm kit less at the moment, no room in my flat! I had a Premier before.

Just some beginners cheap kit, and I got the extra tom and the top seperately ... although the cymbals are paiste and the skins are remo

I take the backs of to get a concert tom bark from 'em too
