This is another harem mare of Ascots. Her name is Azule.Mare 04: Azule
Parents: Black Rabicano (AaAa_E+, RnRn, Sbs) x Bay Roan (AA_E+, RnRn)
Color: Black (AaAa_E+), Roan (RnRn), Sabino (Sbs)
Description of Color: The color Black is self explainatory. And Sabino has already been explained. Roan however, is described as white ticking on the base of the body, leaving the points darker. The controll for Rabicano is unknown, but similar to Roan. Rabicano is noted for white ticking along the base of the tail and flanks.
Offspring:
Braith - Classic Champagne Frosted Sabino (Colt)
Keira - Grulla Sabino (Filly)

Have you ever heard of homozygous horses? They haved to do with being black and white kinda like a tabiano or a pinto, but not the same layout as those coats. She is gorgeous and she's going in my faves. You did a great job here and you have amazing detail and profile in your horses! I'm putting you in my artwatch.

Homozygous just means that they have a double copy of the same gene, it's not color or patterned specific tho.

Oh! I thought it was the color! Okay, I see now. I typed in in on the interent for pictures and I always got black and white pinto-like coated horses and I thought it had to do with that, but I believe you might know more than me! ^___^
