Mouse Guard x Hetalia. I mean WHY NOT? */shot* How many of you are already sick'n tired of my Hetalia stuff? Well sorry, but there's gonna be more of it, maybe not right away, but there will :' D
Teehee, I colored this while listening to Sabaton <3 BAMF I say!

Can you recognize them all?

Mice are so much fun to draw. Especially when you don't have to worry if they look natural or are anatomically correct or whatever, ya know, and just draw. Capes are also probably my fav piece of clothing to draw<3

I like how they came out. The colors were really hard to pick, but I think I got them alright. Especially China was a tough one. Also I wanted Japans cloak to be white too at first, but it just made it look like I was slacking in coloring, so silver (pfft dirty grey) it is. I pondered about golden and black, also thought of coloring the fur black instead of white, but it made him look a bit too evil so I decided against it. And with the cloak, the idea of white had struck me so bad I gave in and made it what it is now. France was also a tricky one, I mean how the hell do you draw stubble on a mouse? I tried to draw him like he has a longer, curly fur, but I think that one backfired a bit. I tried to mimic the longer fur on Canada, but double fail.

Like said, I like how they came out, all of them, their poses and expressions, but I suppose my personal favs are Iggy, Russia and Japan.

Sketch and lineart with hb 0.5 pencil and a black ball point pen on ancient, sepia toned drawing paper, colored with Gimp. That lineart pic looks so darn good it's currently on my wall~

Yea I took the date from the time when Germany attacked Poland on the beginning of WWII, and I realized only a bit later that Axis wasn't probably fully deformed just then, at least I think it wasn't, but pffft come on they're mice who cares.
