Another day another new oc I don't even need but hear me out this time I have an excuse! Well kind of. I've been (still am ngl) kinda stressed about uni stuff and haven't had a whole lot of motivation or inspiration for art, but then I remembered this sketch and this guy in general and wanted to do something simple and fun, and turns out clean inks and flats is a fun style when you don't have to worry about shading and the painterly stuff. I mean it can be fun too, but it was nice to just. Colour, and then slap a texture on top, and call it done. Well, done after whatever that background is. Definitely too busy, but I don't hate it enough to start over, so it gets to stay. And seeing as this might be my last drawing of this year, might as well post it.

Who's this guy? One of my many back-up character ideas, a tarutaru black mage, and a complete jackass, designed roughly around the same time as Raito . Been wanting to make another a-hole type character, since most of my characters are just too nice, so I decided I needed a snooty shorty in the mix. Theoretically, at least, since he's not in any game, yet.

I swear the whole red-head and fire staff was purely accidental, I originally meant for him to have platinum blonde hair but I have my share of characters with white hair and wanted to do something different, then I also chose the staff on a whim, my first instinct was lightning but again I've favoured that element in my past characters and wanted something else. But, it's not always a bad thing to embrace a trope or two, might as well make him a walking stereotype of a trigger happy blaster mage.
