Well, pokemon from foreign countries gain 1.7 times more exp, and pokemon from trades gain 15 times more exp. It wouldn't take THAT long.

I wish you could run into your named pokemon if you released them in one of the surrounding routes/caves (and if max happiness). Then you could go say hello to your old friends when all of your boxes are full (of hacked pokemon).
