there are wild rumors that cubone is actually kangaskhan's baby who wears its dead mother's skull.
what Marowak is supposed to be then if she's cubone's mother? was it teen pregnancy? because in this case cubone would be wearing marowak's skull. it just makes my head hurt trying to find any logic, but well, it's pokemon. as in not real life where logic is trying to make any sense. I think the rumor is bullcrap : >
I love this comic just because it's twisted as it supposed to be. And it would have been more awesome if this was also included in the show

Lavender town's original tune also killed people by causing their brains to swell. In the actual file for it right before it loops a ghost pokemon spells out the words GO BACK. It's creepy.

This is an exaggerated take on an actual story line in the original games.
Marowak, Cubones "mother," was killed by Team Rocket and haunted the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town. You have to battle and K.O. Marowak to continue to fight Team Rocket, but you can't capture it.
From Bulbapedia: At a point before the player reaches Lavender Town, members of Team Rocket invade the PokΓ©mon Tower and attempt to steal the skulls of Cubone, in order to sell them for large amounts of cash. One Cubone, however, was protected by its mother. The Cubone escaped, but its mother was killed. As a result, the Marowak's ghost remained in the PokΓ©mon Tower, forbidding access to the topmost floor. She would appear in a disguise, avoid all thrown PokΓ© Balls, and scare opponents so much that they would be unwilling to attack. However, the player unmasked her with the Silph Scope and subsequently battled her. Once she was defeated, her soul was calmed, and she departed to the afterlife.
