Description A transhuman tasked with patrolling the borders between the sprawling undercity and suborbital habitats. Her form-fitting nanosuit offers protection against radiation, toxic fumes and pressure changes and can self-repair if damaged. The light rig worn over it includes a mask that enhances the senses and allows long-range communication, thrusters that enable flight and small wings that aid manoeuvring. The talon worn on the right wrist can hurl bolts of energy to stun or kill organic targets and short out inorganic systems. Despite this impressive equipment the seraphs are not highly regarded in transhuman society, leading some to seek alternative work among the undercity castes as bodyguards or mercenaries.

Interesting. She makes the Death-Caps in my science fiction look like a baseline human in comparison.

wow! such an impressive cyberwoman!
yet, you managed to include a vibe of creepyness on her, such as the stained, pale, and filled with freckles skin. it looks barely alive, and yet it is quite in the limits of ''being alive''.
as for the armour, its perfect, well-designed and very unique. the gas-mask adds to the epic creepyness, and it can explain why she is still alive in the wastelands.
strangely, despite the creepy factors, she looks sexy.

also a good story, that accompanies the image to an epic tale of cyberhorror.

great job man, keep up the good work!

I actually like this picture more than my Angel of Entropy though it hasn't been as popular. I should have given it a more interesting background (vague silhouettes of spires rising through the fog might work best).

The Necromechanics series is definitely cyberhorror and I haven't done much in this style for ages - Scorched Earth is more hard sci fi. There used to be some crossover (eg. Requiem, Rust Beast) but these days I imagine they take place in different universes.

oh, but angel of entropy was also a nice piece of art!

still, this one is quite intriguing, very visually attractive, and slightly disturbing, all in the same time!

also, this drawing of the ''seraph'' is so awesome and so detailed in the human body+the mechanical parts, that NO background is necessary...
with your awesome drawings, and the detailed character designs, few will focus on the backgrounds...
(at least IMHO).

also, your vast empty wastelands are a good background choice, and a relaxing sight for the eyes of the watcher...

hmm. i would LOVE to see more necromechanics done by you, so doing more like this would be a cool thing to witness.

you are awesome, keep up the good work, and keep creating incredible drawings!

cool. you should do a transhuman baphomet. is that mask a permanent face make over?

I like that idea a lot. I've already touched on cyber-hell with my Schismatic character, which was inspired by reading Dante's "Inferno."

The mask isn't a permanent fixture, but some parts behind it are, like the tubes leading from the back of the skull.

The hell-themed piece is the Schismatic. jflaxman.deviantart.com/art/Sc…

The tubes contain leads that connect the brain to modular external hardware (in this case a flight pack) so it can be thought-controlled. The modular system makes it easier to replace or change equipment, and also lets the user jack in to larger devices or vehicles.
