Man I've wanted to draw some Jet Force Gemini fanart for years but could never quite get a handle on drawing Vela whenever I tried in the past. For some reason I got the soundtrack on my mind today so decided to stick it on and get drawing.

A random little memory... I chose the Walkway level for the backdrop here because... I dunno, it made an impression on me as a kid. Such a small, quiet level without any music, just a weird ambience that, due to how mismatching it was with the high altitude environment, gave an even bigger impression of surreal silence than actual silence would have. At this stage in life I was so used to video games just having music playing all the time, that arriving at this gorgeous, isolated place just felt weirdly poignant. So yeah, just a random aside there.

Overall I'm not actually the BIGGEST fan of this game, I found it very loose to control, and it was far too demanding of the player in order to reach the ending (I really loathe when games present seemingly optional objectives and then right at the end demand 100% completion of you in order to reach the last level), but still I'm full of nostalgia for it.
