They have the same voice actress. Just too bad Vela was never fully voiced. I listen to Joanna speak and try to raise the pitch in my head to match Vela's grunts and other various noises, and imagine that being Vela's speaking voice. Can never properly do it though, and that makes me sad.

I will say, in some ways I miss the old Rare. From DKC 1-3,to Perfect Dark,Grabbed By The Ghoulies and so on. Their games from 1994-2008 ranged from solid,good to hell even excellent.Even the Microsoft era before Kinect even existed I argue wasn't too bad. I love Grabbed By The Ghoulies. I also really like Viva Pinata. Even their last true Rare game (being Nuts & Bolts) I don't find bad per say. Just okay.

While not every game from Rare was gold to me (those being DK64 & Golden Eye 007.) I enjoyed 95% of it. When they released Rare Replay it made me both rejoiced and kind of sad.
(Rejoiced because I get to play 85% of the games I love from Rare. Sad because it's a reminder that Rare isn't as great as they use to be.)

Hopefully with the new game they're working on it might bring some of the magic Rare had back in the days. Quick question BTW. What's your favorite RareWare game? (I have been debating what's my favorite out of their games. Banjo Kazooie & Tooie are up there. Same with the DKC Trilogy & Conker's Bad Fur Day. I guess if I had to pick it's probably DKC 2.)

Also sometime are you planning on doing anymore Rare related Deviant Pics.(I love to see more Rare characters in your artstyle.)

They're both so cute! Joanna Dark kinda reminds me of a dark-haired version of Topaz from Sonic X. You definitely have a nack for making obscure characters look cute.
