Surprisingly, over the years of her time at Otherworlde, Ida seemed to become slightly, just a teeny bit if you squinted, tamer, than before. She had even offered to help a fellow student and had experienced, for the first time, the emotion empathy. *le gasp* She had, overall, become slightly less psychotic and even made a few friends in Otherworlde Academy. Her bloodlustiness did not change, although, the academy does seem to be controlling the amount of people she kills.

Because of past relationships with men, Ida has become quite psychotic. However, soon, she starts to open her heart up again when she met Beru. She starts going out with him and is deeply in love. Ida is, in truth, quite naive and trusting when it comes to people, which is why she constantly gets her heart broken. She is sometimes sensitive, but also flirtatious (despite her relationship with Beru). She gets jealous easily, but is also very gossipy about other people and their relationships. She's very stubborn and always wants things to go the way she intends it to and she can hold a grudge for a long time. All of the above is her behaviour when she's around people she's familiar with. Despite all this, Ida is still a very merciless and coldblooded killer on her missions and equally sadistic/psycho. She would not hesitate to kill people and when she starts, she become extremely bloodlust.

History:
Ida used to have a rather normal life in a normal family in a very normal place. Her mother and father were both present and they loved her very much, as she was the only child. During her childhood, Ida had blonde hair and was very sociable with all her classmates because she was kind, funny and gentle. This made her become very popular within her school and soon, she began to look for boyfriends. Her first boyfriend was a mistake, they did not get along and the only reason Ida accepted him was because of her desperate notion for a "boyfriend". They did not go out for long before breaking up and going separate ways.

Her second relationship lasted much longer and Ida and her boyfriend felt like they truly loved each other and belonged. Ida was very happy and trusting during that time, however, after a year, Ida didn't know that her boyfriend no longer loved her and have already moved on. They continued to go out for a few weeks until Ida finally found out the truth. This hurt her deeply and she could not understand why he would do this. She no longer trusted anyone and barely talked to friends and family.

It wasn't until after 2 years that Ida finally broke her shell of monotonous behavior and finally accepted fate. She became like her old self again and soon, she met a new guy. He seemed perfect, sweet and dedicated and she fell in love once again. However, like her previous experiences, this relationship did not last. Her boyfriend became abusive both physically and verbally and gradually, Ida's mind went insane. She became psychotic and soon, committed suicide.

After Ida left the human world, she appeared in Hell, however, after viewing her profiles, the Head assigned her a new job, Shinigami. Her new job suited her personality perfectly and took pleasure in other's pain. Without hesitation, she killed and reaped and her previous personality was buried deep within her. It wasn't until she met Beru that those emotions began to stirr and awaken.

During her first year in Otherworlde Academy, Ida's personality had changed slightly and she had made a few "friends". She had not yet had the chance to visit Death-sama and so, why he had sent her to this school is still a mystery. Through her courses, Ida learned a lot about Shadowmancy and was also able to obtain a trusty animal partner and basic knowledge of potion-making. Due to the fact that one year is not a long time in a Shinigami's life, Ida did not change much physically.

During her second year in Otherworlde Academy, Ida became rather distracted. Whether it's the winter season or maybe just the fact that there was only one other person in her class (as well as a class with only herself) and she couldn't tease anyone, she skipped class. A lot. And didn't turn in any of the required assignments. Not that she cares, but the competitive side of her wouldn't just allow her to watch everyone else pass by her and move on to the next level while she remained so she vowed to at least do the assignments next year. Okay maybe not vowed...

During her third and fourth year in Otherworlde Academy, Ida took a class in shadow bandages and passed, however, it wasn't enough for her to advance in level. Having thought the academy events rather childish, she didn't participate, although she was secretly hoping to meet more people like her. Don't get her wrong, she didn't mean friends, just... other students who had the same..erm...interests as her. It did get lonely sometimes in this big gloomy school...

During her fifth year in Otherworlde Academy, Ida seemed to finally get it in her head that the only way she can go back to being a normal shinigami is to pass her classes here. She took classes in shadowporting and shadow illusions and passed both. Gaining confidence in her shadowmancy skills, she now relies on that during fighting as well as her combat skills and scythe. At the end of the fourth year, Ida decided to become more active within the academy and meet new people so she signed up for the OW tournament.

During her sixth year in Otherworlde Academy, Ida finally switched up her looks in preparation for the tournament. Doning what she called her "battle outfit" Ida participated in the tournament. She had been confident and had won her first battle, but things didn't go down that smoothly. Her first taste of defeat against Pet made her feel...strange. She didn't harbor as much anger and jealousy as she had thought and Pet's kindness shocked her. As much as she'd like to deny it, Ida felt as if she's slowly being affected by the people at this academy.

In her seventh year at Otherworlde Academy, Ida worked hard to finish her current courses in order to pass and advance to an Expert student. She met a few more people through her classes and got to know her roommate, Babette, a bit better.

During Ida's eighth year at OW, she unknowingly activated her reflection, mIda, or Lydia as she likes to be called. She also received an unexpected visit from her boyfriend Beru and is preparing to enter in the tournaments once again.

Ida spent her ninth year at OW preparing and participating in the tournaments again. The last tournament had taught her to tone down the cockiness and arrogance. In all those rounds she only lost once and came in at 4th place at the end of the tournament.

Ida's tenth year passed quite uneventfully as she got down to her studies to finally get a degree in shadowmancy. She has decided not to leave the academy just yet. 10 years could be considered long, but for a demon, not so much. She has gotten used to the OW lifestyle and finds herself intrigued in some of the other courses. She was offered a student teacher position at Shadowmancy and now teaches SHD 104.

Ida - *she skims her fingers lightly over the spines of the rows of books she passes, all neatly stacked in their place in the shelf and resisted the strong urge to knock it over**her eyes barely looks at the titles as she suddenly stops and plucks one out* The Tales of a Shadowmancy Veteran, huh, sounds so interesting *she ends her remark sarcastically before shoving it, rather brutally, back into its designated slot* Lit Sample (preferred)
The alcohol burns as it drips down her arm and glides across the large, reddening gash. Ida tries not to wince and lets the pain be a reminder of the battle. Although she had won the round, it didn't mean she wasn't left with injuries to tend to. Gingerly wrapping gauze around her forearms, she relinquishes in the fact that that was the last round, there will be no more, at least not until the next tournament. Who knows if Ida would still be here by then. Briskly tying a knot on the bandage, the shinigami stands up and stretches her sore body. The tournament champion had been crowned and even if its not her, she is still satisfied with her fourth place. "One more year...perhaps I will finally get my degree in Shadowmancy." She whispers to herself with a small smile, watching a tiny shadow flame flicker in her palm.
