Happy (belated) Fanart Friday!

The last thing I actually watch was BBC's Sherlock because ~OkiRose reminded me of it again. I had not seen Season 2 and when Oki mentioned my mind went "Oh yeh! Still need to watch the new series!". So I did.

Here be a quick sketch of Benedict Cumberbatch who plays Sherlock Holmes in the latest BBC drama along with Martin Freeman playing the (lonely) John Watson. Looking forward to Season 3 now

It's been YEARS since I've done an observational sketch and I don't think I've done a proper portraiture before...at least I don't remember that I have. There's a lot of inaccuracy here and there but I'm pretty pleased about the fact that it did not take me a long time to do this piece. Yay .

I think I've un-intentionally went over some bits too much so it draws too much attention to it. But what the heck. The whole purpose of Fanart Friday was to improve my ability to finish a drawing and just get quicker at putting ideas down onto paper. So far it's working!

I would spend more time on this but there's a lot of folio work to be done so this'll do for now... next time...next time...
