Leigh roasts (read: scorches to a ridiculous crisp) marshmallows at her retreat in the forest.This was off of the Repose Portfolio thus no further prints will be made of it.
pencil on typing paper inked with techpen then coloured in Painter.

Holy God, this is gorgeous. Back when the Axer Industries site was still up, this painting was one of my favorites. Love the stark blue-black shadows against the warm light.

This is by far the absolute best picture of her! I really like them all and as stupid and lame as this sounds, I can't comment on them all, as I'm lucky I can even comment on this one, with the internet acting up on me.

I love your style. I love your use of EXTREME detail. I love the character design and both the use of color, and how gosh darn realistic you've made the shading on something that's very much still cartoony in its own unique way!
The details in this picture are exceptional and absolutely eye-candy. From the extra tiny pockets on her boots, from the way the tree in back is split so realistically and how mushrooms curve around the trees and hollow stumps.
I have one request: You NEED to make a tutorial when you have time for your technique on this shading style. It's like nothing I've seen before; a use of both gradient and soft cell-shading, or something. But it's brilliant and I would KILL to be able to shade like that. Your other pieces with this shading impress me off-the-wall as well.
I also really wanna know how long this took you. XD Well deserved fav! Too impressed NOT to!

I think I faved this and never commented. -_-;; This has to be one of my favorite images in your whole gallery. It's so robust and complete. The color palette is lovely; I'm really smitten with the gold and purple contrasting colors.
I love how portions of the background are very minimalist-- you let the light describe as much as you need to set the scene and allow the rest to fall into shadow. Yet you didn't feel the need to push that shadow into complete darkness or add texture to it. That really balances the intense detail elsewhere in the image. I still can't keep myself from making that mistake and overworking things backgrounds. =\
I don't think I need to comment on the lighting as it's obviously stunning. ^_^
